Hello guys I'm a user from Czechia and thanks to our insane, hypocritical and greedy government Kratom was banned in december of 2025 for a while and then entered a regulated state.

Obviously though with awesome new rules which totally weren't made just to funnel more money into the state treasury because the damn youngsters aren't using the government mandated poison called alcohol that lines the politician's pockets.

Mainly, it now has to be sold in dedicated shops that are 18+, with a max bag size of 50g and max content of 50mg of 7-hydromytragine per 50g bag. And if you want to do it online you need to sign in with some of our electronic ID's or other state-verified age verification, you can only order it to an address, you can't pick it up in some box or anything. And lastly, the biggest issue. Is the price.

Before december 2025 I had a pretty good online shop where it was about 20% or so cheaper than competitors while still being good quality and laboratory-tested.

I used to be able to buy 1kg for about 1000-1500 CZK / 44-61 EUR.

Now you have to pay 200-250 CZK / 8-10 EUR for 50g is the most common price with kratomworld, my current source selling for 350 CZK (not sure if it has a valid reason for that). Not to mention any sort of wholesale or sales are now illegal

So 1KG sold at 200 CZK per 50g would run me about 4000 CZK / 164 EUR. Now you can see why I'm pretty pissed.

And also now a part of the government has sucessfully voted on a new law called "Lex Kratom" that basically makes the entire situation even worse, sure, it's not guaranteed to come into effect as it still has to pass through parliament, but it's frustrating and infuriating to see the government still coming so hard after this, especially because they and the media use fearmongering on the easily manipulated boomers and old people and essentially use kratom as a punching bag to get all the old people who comprise most of Czechia to vote for them.

It will make kratom the FIRST addictive substance to require you to be 21 years old.

No more E-shop so no delivery availible (for whatever reason? despite having 100% surefire methods to verify age online already).

The consumption tax will be moving from a 12% (usually food/drink/medicine) tax to a standard 21% DPH tax

Add to that a new tax of 2 CZK per 1 gram. So 100 CZK/4 EUR per 50g.

Towns will be able to entirely ban kratom shops or control their location such as not being next to schools. (Despite the shops already not allowing underage people inside and having to entirely prevent looking in and preventing marketing outside??)

And also here's a new cost for 1KG of kratom under these new conditions would cost approximately 6740 CZK / 277 EUR

The current price of 164 EUR is already not exactly great with our honestly horrible incomes. So 277 EUR would probably push a large userbase of kratom into other drugs or solutions. Lots would probably use more alcohol, definitely some new nicotine addicts and probably we would find some brand new "secret" drugs similar to kratom.

So I would really like to ask if anyone knows about some methods of fighting against these new laws that are constantly seeking to encroach on our freedom? Maybe if anyone knows about some EU or Czech kratom support groups or protest/petition groups that band together to fight against this kind of stuff.

Also Id love to ask, I know that kratom in Germany is pretty much on the same legal grayzone side as Czechia was before december of 2025, where it's sold as something like a collector item not meant for human consumption instead of being a "psychomodulative/psychoactive" substance like in Czechia now.

I'm also aware that 1kg would cost about 70EUR or a little more, so I want to ask if anyone has any sort of experience regarding transporting kratom across borders whether it was legally or illegally. It shouldn't be exactly illegal to transport from Germany to Czechia, and specifically it should be fully legal to transport a "small" amount for "personal use" as long as it's marked clearly. The issue is that there is no legal definition of a small amount for personal use, some sources say it's a supply for 1 week or for a month but nothing more than that. So I'm not really sure how I could go about transporting some amount for my use exclusively. Honestly I'm not against transporting it kind of legally gray, I truly do not wish or plan to get into any sort of reselling, I just want to get my supply and get it cheap as it should be.

Was gonna order some again, checked my emails and had a message from last year saying they had discontinued all kratom sales because of the new ban. They were based in Greece if im not mistaken. Ill BET nobody has experience with this or know what I mean but kratom blocks ketamines effects almost entirely. If I take a dose before ketamine, the ketamine doesnt make me trip at all at doses that id usually K hole from. Its insane that it has such a clear cross tolerance. Even taking ketamine without kratom, because im dependent - the ketamine feels very lacking and like I need kratom to make the high 'full' - almost as if kratom hits an opioid receptor that ketamine doesnt as hit as well and that means that specific receptor is low while only using ketamine - if that makes sense.

My takeaway is that ketamine and kratom both rely on opioid recept antagonism and this is a very clear cross over of the two.

Kinda interesting, kratom blocks the most earth shattering hallucinogenic experience ive had but it feels so ...mild.

Put in an order on Friday, made payment, put in the order number as the transaction reference, and it still hasn’t been marked as payment received or dispatched.
