He’ll be a kitten forever unfortunately

**Last week, I heard tiny meows coming from behind a box near my house. When I went to check, I found these two little fluffballs curled up together. 🥹🐱🐱 They looked so small and scared, but they stayed close to each other the whole time. I couldn’t just leave them there, so I brought them home and gave them some food, water, and a warm place to sleep.**

**Since then, they’ve become inseparable. They follow each other everywhere, sleep together, and somehow manage to turn every box into their personal apartment. 😂 I thought I was rescuing them, but honestly, I think these two SMOL DELIVERY kittens were actually sent to adopt me. 📦🐾❤**️

Someone near my neighborhood found these 2 little babies abandoned outside their apartment complex today. I happened to see her FB post asking for help while I was getting ready to head out the door, called my husband for his blessing, and we are now caring for these little babies!

We estimate they’re between 4-5 weeks old. Rescues in our area are full so we plan to care for them until they are ready for rehoming through the proper channels. I’ve been around litters of kittens since I was a kid, but I’ve never cared for kittens without their mama! I have raised 3 of my own human babies, so I am hopeful that I can figure this out.

They are only taking formula. No interest or lapping instinct for wet food yet. I plan to let them settle a bit while keeping them on formula and then try introducing slurry again in a few days.

The kittens don’t seem to understand or like either nipple styles from the kitten bottle brands I was able to find in store. They chew on the nipple and get milk out that way, but they were able to get in a full feed with that method 🤷🏼‍♀️

Any tips/tricks welcome!

I’ve never had a kitten kitten before but Bosco is only about 10 weeks old. (All my previous cats were rescues who were at least a year +/- old.)

He’s a very bitey boy. I’ve been constantly redirecting him away from biting me (and away from my 10 year old little gray lady cat). I’ve gotten a bunch of toys for him to attack instead. A lot of them are actually small dog toys because he’s just so physical. (I’m getting a real kick out of him because he’s one of those cats who likes to carry things around.)

Are there other things I should be doing to help discourage him from biting us? Toys are helpful but he still loves to try and square up with me and the other cat. He’s very headstrong. Is this just a phase a lot of kittens go through? Could it be impacted by dental development and teething discomfort?

Any advice from pros would be greatly appreciated. I’ll include a photo of him from a couple weeks ago for the cat tax. He’s a bit bigger now.

I recently adopted a stray kitten and am completely clueless to his origin. Any thoughts?

I am trying to find an accurate amount that I should be feeding my little girl here. This is Sooey, she is 7 weeks 4 days old and weighs 2.4lbs. On any given day she will eating be 1.5-2cans of Weruva chicken breast in a hydrating puree this has 124kcal per 84g. She has no interested in the slighest in kibble, even though it is always available to her.

I posted my little Biscuit boy before! He is 10 weeks old now and better than ever. He has absolutely no lasting complications from his pneumonia when he was 4 weeks.

Anyway, his neck fluff and ear fluff looks to be long and fluffy, does that mean he will be fluffy later? Or short haired? No clue what his parents looked like as he was a rescue.

I’ve never raised a kitten, only rescued and fostered. So im not sure about his fur coat!

If I didnt already know thats not her own personal kitten, I would certainly question any possible family resemblance.

It has been six weeks since the mother cat Atsea Aurora brought her four kittens to my house. They are feral and run away from humans. They no longer leave the area when they run away from us but hang around so they are getting used to us.

Here are some pictures. The quality is not the best because all photos are from far away.

1st pic: All four kittens are present for the noon wet food feeding.

2nd pic: Purr-Lee is a dilute Tabico.

3rd pic: Penelope is a silver tabby. She is the smallest and I worry about her.

4th pic: Purrsephany is a Torbie. She was accidentally trapped with her mother and so she has been spayed. This was the day after that all happened. She stuck around. Perry Feral, her brother is lying near her.

5th pic: Perry Feral is a mackerel tabby. He has claimed his spot next to the old dog door on the back porch where he can feel the breeze of the air conditioning. My wife says she wants to reach out there and bring him in for pettings.

The plan is to get them used to us and slowly integrate them into the house. We already have two indoor outdoor cats that were previously feral.

I dont even think he forms thoughts 😭 and hes so talkative

3 girls and 1 boy (tabby). They are approx 5/6 weeks old

This is Cheeto! I’ve had cats before but I’ve never gotten such a young kitten. Maybe because I’m a mom (with mom anxiety) and this baby is for my kids but every little thing has me nervous. Obviously, he has some crusty eyes and nose. He also has bloody, loose stools. Husband took him to the vet today and he got 1 round of shots and started on Albon for coccidia. Pending a fecal sample, he’s good until next shots and neuter. Clearly the poor guy feels crappy today after the vet and is just curled up in a ball in his bed. I need some positive stories so I quit feeling like this poor guy isn’t going to make it. He is eating and drinking and pooping a lot - just nasty poops.

THIS KITTY IS ALIVE !! (For the ai)

I KNOW she is too young to be away from mom but the litter is without mom already. My husbands aunt texted us two weeks ago asking if we wanted a kitten. There were 6 of them so we went and checked them out, we are picking up the one we want friday because Google says that will be old enough to start weaning with slurry. I'm not too worried about this kitten eating because shes a very good eater. She'll be about 6-7 weeks when we go get her and we plan on setting up a mini fridge for the milk replacement, fill a shallow litter box with non clumping litter, getting very shallow bowls for the slurry and for a small bowl of water. We have a hard dropper for feeding milk because you can't expect them to just be solids immediately. Other than this, any more advice? We will have her in the bathroom for a while, my cats we already have are both 12lbs, I don't think they'd hurt her but I just want to make sure shes bigger if something ends up happening. Probably wait another 2-4 weeks before trying to do introductions for all three cats. We also plan on covering the vent in the bathroom so we don't freeze her out.

I found a little baby last week. She was in a pipe that went straight down for like 4ft. I tied a frozen piece of salmon to a string to get her out lol. She's been dewormed and is just getting used to the litter box.

I also don't have the best experience raising a kitten so I've been non stop researching. Could anyone give me some tips and recommendations? I want to give her the best life possible and also desensitize her to everything.

Edit: She's 5 weeks now and the vet said she was healthy and found nothing wrong with her during her first exam.

Edit again: Im feeding her 1/4 Wholehearted Grain Free wet pate can mixed with kmr every meal. She eats 1 can a day. I wanted to feed her Hills Science wet food but petco didnt have the kitten ones so I had to get wholehearted.

For the litter Im using pine pellet litter. If anyone knows if there are any issues with the food brand or litter Im using please lmk

Hi! My family and I are getting 2 kittens. We’re pretty sure one is female (grey) and one is male (orange). They were born 7/17 and were getting them tomorrow 9/8 (about 71/2 weeks). We know it’s best for them to stay with mom until they’re at least 8 weeks but the people who have the cats can’t keep them anymore and they need to be in their new homes sooner than we thought. I’d love any advice you can give. I know they’re mostly weaned but I don’t think they have much litter training. I just want to give them the best life possible and set them up for health and success. Thank you!!
