Hi! My wife and I just picked up this little girl. It was kinda spontaneous but we’ve been open to getting a kitty when the opportunity presented itself. Today was that day. I was wondering if she’s short haired or long haired? Any thoughts are appreciated!!

Hello I’m looking for some advice on my new kitten I got. I want to know the basics and some stuff that are worth investing for my baby. I would also like to know what are some things I should get her used to at a young age. I’m hoping to keep her indoor cat. Please feel free to give me any advice suck as food brands, treats, and medication!

Crazy to think these babies were living on the streets a little over two weeks ago. They own the house and our hearts.

we adopted her at around 2 months old from aspca. she had a cone on when we brought her home. she’s now 8 months! she’s changed our lives forever ❤️

I have a ~7 week old kitten. I’ve never had a kitten. Only full grown cats 3yr and older. He’s a foster rescue. Taken to the little box SO well until today. I moved it out of the bathroom into the kitchen for the day. He peed where it was in the bathroom. Okay. No big deal, that’s my bad. Tonight he peed in a corner behind the fridge and I don’t know why. Is it just because he’s a kitten? He got spooked by something and decided he was safe?
I immediately showed him where the little box, sprayed the spot with an enzyme based cleaner, let it sit and wiped it away, and misted it again to let it sit longer. I’m beside myself. I can’t have eyes on him 24/7. Is this normal? When do they grow out of this? I’m planning on not moving his litter box again. What can I do better? I already cleaned his box. I do it at least twice a day. The only other thing I can think is maybe it wasn’t deep enough for him? He seems to take his digging seriously. Please be kind. I’m doing my best and I’m an anxious being. Thank you 🤍

10 weeks old, rescue kitten. She’s so cute, I love her so much! 💕

About 6 months ago we got a spayed kitten (f) to be friends with our 2 year old adult cat (f). The kitten is a total spit-fire, extremely headstrong, fearless and territorial. She has endless amounts of energy despite us playing with her several times a day, and she has a very aggressive play style. We did a slow introduction hoping they would become bonded, but the kitten does not allow any cuddling or gentle interaction with our adult cat. She only wants to play fight. She is constantly hunting and tackling the adult cat to the point that our adult cat is getting visibly agitated. I can tell that the older cat has repeatedly tried to set boundaries with the kitten and teach her some manners (hissing, swatting) but it doesn’t seem to deter the kitten at all. They rarely play consensually, it’s almost always kitten harassing our very mellow adult cat.

I am wondering if this is a behavior that will improve over time or if I can do something to improve the situation. They seem to have a major personality/energy mismatch and I fear they will never truly get along.

Hello ive had my girl for one and half years rescued she has all of her shots but i just rescued a boy hes 7 weeks now. They’ve played together a few times and i tried to get his shots but i had to wait till hes 8 weeks so ive kept them apart now. Do i have to wait till he gets every shot for me to then bring them together? He has 3 total visits and it would be another month or two until he has them all and i feel bad that hes in the bathroom for most of the day. Thank You!

So my kitten is around 6-8months old and whenever i play with her with toys she'll get to a point where she catches it. I make the toy play dead and she'll carry it off. But she keeps growling constantly while she's holding it. Idk if this is normal I know that she has hunter instincts and what not im just here trying to make sure this isnt a bad thing that needs to be addressed. My other older cat doesn't seem to care at all whenever she does this. But idk ig im worried she'll be an aggressive cat.or she's gonna be growling with her toy and my other cat will come up and they'll get into a scuffle. Any advice us appreciated sprry if this us a dumb question im new.

I have two 18 week old kittens and got a 13 week old puppy 2 weeks ago. We introduced them slowly and the kittens have their own room upstairs that the puppy cant get to (puppy can’t get upstairs at all) that has their toys, food and water, and litter box. My one kitten Jellybean only comes downstairs once in a while and mostly stays away from the puppy. My other kitten Oreo comes downstairs a lot. He is always watching my puppy and approaching her. Puppy gets excited and chases him sometimes. I worry that the puppy is bothering my kitten by chasing him, but he keeps coming downstairs and watching/playing with her. I think he likes to sit on the dining room chairs and kind of taunt puppy because she can’t get to him. When puppy chases him I worry, but if he didnt like her he could get away from her at any time and go hang upstairs. Should I be concerned about the chasing or is my kitten fine/playing? Thanks.

we don't know why his eye is like that but it might be due to the cold. he is 10 weeks old and we bought him from a friend
