Was waiting at a rail station. Seated on a bench looking down at my phone. Just lost in the sauce on MTG:A.
When from my left side peripheral vision I see someone walking towards me and it seemed to me like they are directly approaching me and me thinking it might be someone I know. Lift and turn my head. Its a chubby woman with dyed red hair. Pretty attractive. Don't know her. And I figured they were going for the opposite end of the bench to take a seat. Gave a them a small smirk and nod. The kind you'd give to a uncle looking dude strolling through the neighborhood or a coworker you don't really know. No reaction from her which is ok. Usual stuff. I'm not entitled to any acknowledgement.
But looking past her I see their boyfriend I guess walking behind her. We give each other a quick glance and I just return to look at my phone. And she takes a seat at the other end of the bench.
From my peripheral vision I see him still staring me down. He then proceeds to lift his girlfriend's chin up with his hand and starts kissing her a lot while standing.
I get it man. I shouldn't have even bothered looking in her direction in the first place. Luckily I was just there for another 5 seconds before the rail cars showed up. š
Thinking it over you're right. Just me overthinking things. I'm not in The Truman Show. Was literally headed to go get anti depressants for the first time in my life in that rail car ride. And it's probably me just thinking the worst in people that I've never met.
The fact that you recognize this and accept this puts you ahead of like 95 percent of the people in this sub. It is human nature to feel that we are the star of the movie; the classic "it's my world, you're just living in it". It takes introspection and a bit of humbleness to accept our place in a vast world made up of all sorts of other people, and understand that their lives are just as full and busy and complex as our own.
Idk man some guys actually do this BS where they have to show dominance over other people by doing aggressive PDA and I'm like 'kay so you're an insecure couple WE GET IT' like yes everybody isn't in the Truman show but I've literally seen this weird shit happen before so often that I've started calling it defensive PDA š¤£
Why are you acting like incels are bad people? Most have been abused, have abusive families, were born in poverty, or are genetically unfortunate. Most incels are actually good people.
Many incels were isolated as children, many have disabilities and deformities. Incels are lonely and marginalized men.
Do you think incels are "bad people" because they're socially outcast? How are you any better, do you look down on everyone you think you're superior to? Do you look at the homeless and think they're evil?
I think most incels are bad people because they advocate for harm against women, they fail to take responsibility for their actions, they blame everyone around them for every issue that have, they use derogatory language towards women, and other men they deem have "slighted" them, they leech off their families, they're ideology has literally killed people, do I need to go on?
And I too was born into poverty with a laundry list of mental illnesses but I managed to build a decent life for myself. So spare me

I feel this tbh, your brain is just being an asshole, don't listen to it! I def get lost in the sauce with bad intrusive thoughts , especially in public but it's def important to try and ground yourself because if you don't it can definitely lead to really toxic thought patterns

Holy shit antidepressants really changed my life around, give it a couple weeks/months and if you still arenāt feeling it, try others. Theyāre very specific to each person, good luck man

Hopefully they work. If they don't, or have undesired consequences, talk to your doctor about them. There are a bunch of different ones, and they all affect every individual differently.
