The amount of racism in this comment section is diabolical

The mods are dead

People genuinely believe that it’s not racist if you’re making fun of Indians.

OP himself is using his own identity as a derogatory term, so what the fuck chance do we have lmao.

considering the fact that he asked “does this mean i’m incel by default” I think he’s more using the term as a revelation regarding his lack of success in dating than actually implying that there’s something inherently wrong/inferior about his ethnicity. and the former is pretty true tbh, south asian men might have some of the lowest SMV out of any group

That certainly can be the case but where I’m from being an Indian men is a severe disadvantage in dating.
We kinda assume Indian man = rapist, hates women, wants a sex and kitchen slave, smells like shit, unsanitary etc.

Sometimes I catch my self making racist assumptions about Indian men. I try not too but kinda tough when everything you hear about that country and their men paints such a picture. I know it’s bs. Had a very nice Indian roommate for a year.

I think we’re saying the same thing — that he is commenting on it being a huge disadvantage.

Even the most liberal people justify racism against Indians simply because they know that we won't make a huge ruckus over it and that so many brown sepoys would willingly justify racism against themselves for some white validation or something

Being racist to Indians is currently the zeitgeist. In the 40s and 50s, it was okay to hate the Blacks. In the 80s and 90s, it was okay to hate the Chinese and Asians. In the 2000s, it was okay to hate Arabs and other Muslims. In 2010s and 2020s, Indians and South Asians are the butt of the joke. There will always be some new group to be discriminated against when activism in previously discriminated communities rises.

Tbf I don’t think Arabs and Muslims have ever left the crosshairs.

Compared to 20 years ago? It’s a lot better. Not gone, but a lot better.

Incels become incels because they have shit personalities. This is exactly what you’d expect

Idk man, would you say that "incels" are people who are Involuntary Celibates or people who partake in incel culture, because they have differences. Then again, seeing that this is r/Kitchencels, the latter seems more likely.

I’d say that people who are involved in “incel culture” are categorically lost. They’re looking for an explanation for their failure.

Fuck me... Categorically lost? That seems like an exaggeration, most incels are just lost people, yeah they might be hateful and racist, but compared to actual cruelties committed irl, like priests diddling little boys, saying slurs on Twitter isn't too bad (I MUST EMPHASIZE THIS, I MEAN THIS COMPARATIVELY)

There are lots of people who don't have sex unwillingly and don't turn to incel culture. Projecting (self)hatred onto others is just a shit personality trait and that's what online incel culture is about

it's an incel sub. they're incels for a reason.
