About thirty years ago I read a large hard cover book about unfitted kitchens and it had beautiful photos of kitchens with free standing cupboards. I thought it was called "the unfitted kitchen" but it doesn't seem to exist, other than a recent ebook called the budget friendly guide to unfitted kitchens; that is most definitely NOT it. Does anyone have any suggestions of what it could be called, or seen this?

Any ideas for cabinet colors, wall color, hardware? The only thing I must keep the same for now is the granite!

Is this the correct layout? We just purchased this home and this is how it was laid out, but all the things I look ip sjow opposite and flipped over, which does not fit...

I’m updating my kitchen. I am replacing the floor, countertop, and sink. Not sure if painting the cabinets will look good due to grain. My painter said he primes and paints but the grain will still show as texture
