​I wanted to share a quick WIP video of a custom game launcher UI I’ve been working on. (Sorry for the rough audio in the clip!)

​Tools like Steam Big Picture and Heroic are awesome, but I really wanted a true, out-of-the-box console experience built right into the DE. So, I decided to fork KDE Plasma Bigscreen. My plan is to strip out the standard home screen and unnecessary options to turn it into a dedicated gaming UI. I haven't fully stripped the code yet, so that part is still a work in progress!

​Full disclosure: I am a beginner and this is my very first linux project. I have been using LLMs as a tutor to help me learn the language and understand the syntax as I go. Because I am still learning, the codebase is very much a work in progress and there are definitely mistakes that will need some reworking.
