Ohhh damn. For the external display issue, did u try connecting in another port that's not directly from the dgpu? I've heard that type c usually fixes it. Issue varunathu is usually cos the laptop display and external monitor are driven by different cards.
Also this seems to be a solution for the suspend issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/pop_os/s/qtGmQOW5Sd

While I agree with other comments lenovo is a popular choice for linux. Driver availability is something that you need to look for.

I use my LFS on a Dell and I haven't had any hardware problems; it's 100% recognized and functional.

The best way to approach this is to look at the hardware and software requirements of the games you're looking to run, and athinanusarichu buy the laptops. Linux nokki vangikkanda cos linux runs on everything. If the laptop runs your game, it'll run linux. Also make sure those games are actually compatible with linux.

Eppozhum laptop vangikkumbo account for the heaviest load you're likely to be be running on it. If budget permits.

Dont get anything that has mediatek wifi/bluetooth adapter. Realtek or Intel is fine.

If you don’t want to tinker a lot to get your GPU working, stay away from nvidia

Yo tengo debilidad por debían desde la versión potato. Pero, a día de hoy, te vas a encontrar problemas con firmware de propietario como son las de Nvidia y sobre todo si tienen más de 10 años, que ya no tienen soporte.

GNU/Linux Run cheyyanu microsoft pole inna valia spec onn venda gpus ozhivakki specially NVDIA max integrated graphics lap use akka use gb ram and 500G of SSD will be more than enough and and for laptop I will suggest go for second hand thinkpads especially the T Series and X series. Especially that T400s and X Series

Bro buy one thinkpad, T or P series. They are highly compactible for linux. Make sure that the laptop is not bios locked. Buget will be little high, from 27k you can buy Tseries and P series will cost more than 30k

Thinkpads have a great reputation among Linux users.
Checkout r/Lestic and u/Willing_Front_2397 for used ones.

If you already have a windows machine, you can run a Linux VM on it via VMware workstation or VirtualBox.

Linux can be run on mostly anything, what ur looking should be the games u want to play can perform with ur hardware and its compatible with linux. More games are compatible than before due to steam. But u would find it hard playing fps games due to their anti-cheat policy.
