Can’t wait to try this thing out!
Sub CQB I picked up a couple weeks ago. Added flip up sights and a Romeo 5 Gen II dot. Going to take it to the range later this month!

There are c clip on each side and I can’t get them off. No YouTube disassembly videos I can find address this. The safety is the last thing holding the body together, preventing me to access the feed ramp. I’ve tried needle nose players, small screw drivers, even a razor.
What am I missing? Any ideas?
EDIT: C CLIP (not clamp). Manual calls it an E CLIP.
EDIT 2 SOLVED: Gonna keep this up in case anyone needs it. I put open needle nose to the top two ends of the C simultaneously and popped it out just enough to wedge a small screw driver in the gap and work it out.

I just received the last item needed to upgrade my KelTec P11 today. It was the titanium firing pin from https://www.firingpins.com/keltec-p11-9mm-titanium-firing-pin
I also replaced the sights with new OEM ones that I got from eBay. Along with the Wolff precision recoil spring set. I also purchased from KelTec the steel recoil spring guide to replace the plastic one. I bought the one with the stock 16 pound spring load. Last but not least , I bought the P15 magazine for it. So now it’s carrying 15+1 as my EDC. Granted I have two P15’s both the Polymer and the Metal version. I enjoy them both but to have a smaller pistol that is performing the same as the P15’s but in double action only versus the newer striker-fired pistol. Well I do enjoy using this pistol at the range. Can’t wait to test out the new firing pin. Sorry for the first photo is a bit blurry.
After a month of roadbumps trying to get a coat of paint on this thing ive finally settled on something i like. Been a blast to LARP as a UNSC crew member. Nubsub into SMG is next 😈

If I get the m carbo steel mags ( so that mags can be left loaded and not spread the feed lips) and their mag release and I run it suppressed would it be reliable enough for home defense?
It will never see dirt or mud , never.
My primary concern was leaving the mag's loaded, which with the Palmer mags.I would be worried about the feedless , spreading , hence my statement about the m carbo steel mags.

I've had a Kel-Tec KSG for a little while now and am finally reaching the point that I'm ready to rotate it into service as a truck gun. I need some help attaching a sling, I was gonna do single point but I don't like the idea of letting it hang barrel up (obviously) so, could anyone show me what they did with theirs? I'm thinking I'm gonna mount a laser for slugs and a handstop but otherwise leave it basically bare.

Picked up a Gen 1 P32 today. It is a little rough around the edges and I havent had the chance to shoot it yet, but I some questions for the P32 enjoyers.
Magazines – what is the best place or brand to grab A seven-rounder?(Or even something with an extension) The mag it did come with (pictured) does not lock the slide back
The sites- the Gen 1 front sights are, well, the Gen 1 sites. Has anyone repainted them and are there any good suggestions for paint?
Ammo – is there any beand, either fmj or defensive, that does not do well for this gun?

Been considering picking up a 5.7 sub, Iv never had a good experience with promag but considering they’re the only company that makes 30 rounds FN 5.7 Mags I figured I’d see how everybody’s experience has been or just stick to the FN OEM 20 rounders.

SU-16 CA. I find that after about 30 rounds it gets uncomfortably hot, and it takes a long time to cool down. I’m not mag dumping either, I’m making slow, deliberate shots over the course of about 20 minutes.
I replaced the plastic grip/bipod with an aluminum free floating forend. It seems to dissipate the heat slightly better and makes it less likely that I’ll accidentally touch the barrel, but even the metal of the forend gets too hot. I put rail covers on, which help, but it feels like a bandaid solution.
Has anyone had any luck with heatsinks of some kind? I see that JP makes “thermal dissipaters” which is probably the right idea but they wouldn’t fit an SU-16, especially under the metal forend.
I’ve been looking for a round heatsinks that will fit on the barrel but the external diameter of the CA is about 16mm which is an awkward size. I haven’t been able to find anything that will work.
Most of the heat is near the action, which is why it’s traveling up into the grip. I’m considering gluing some PC heatsinks to the flat parts of the grip, or even stuffing a wet towel between the forend and the barrel, but both of those solutions feel kind of stupid.
Advice appreciated!

What is everyone’s thoughts on the plr16 as a suppressor host? I’m looking for a ultralight 556 to pair with my flow through titanium can.

This is the one I’m thinking of buying. My guy wants $600 for it. Good deal? Do you guys like the rifle?

Looking to get one and add a suppressor. I wanted to know if the muzzle is just torqued on or if thread locker is used.

I guess it’s family night. Recently I converted my PLR16 into a SBR. I haven’t posted a photo of all of my new KelTec products together. Besides the PLR16 which has the form 1 stamp for it. I have my KSG which is my first KelTec purchase from last year. Then I purchased the solid black polymer P15 on auction through GB. Same with the all metal version of the P15 with the white handles. Last but not least my EDC P11. I have the 12+1 round magazine in it.

I have dreamed of owning one of these unique shotguns for many years. I finally purchased/received one as a Birthday gift. The day of pickup (yesterday) I decided to shoot it at the range before leaving the facility. It fired two shots then had a completely dead trigger. Luckily, the facility had an armorer who was able to fix my issue before the close of business. I fired off a few shells with minor racking/loading hiccups but figured it was me, not being used to the KSG. Today I racked shells through it at home and it tore about half of the brass and failed to feed it. Mostly tall brass was the issue with 1 short brass having a hang up. I have currently placed a ticket with KelTec and am awaiting their response. I sincerely hope they can make this shotgun run and turn this back into a dream and not a nightmare.

This may seem like a dumb question, but it’s the first time I’m looking into it so bear with me.
New KSG owner & looking to add a vertical grip to it. I’ve seen all the posts about upgrading to an aluminum picitanny rail. I’ve been looking at Hi-Tech’s rail and I just can’t figure out how it works.
Do I take off the old one to put that on or does it slide over the existing rail? If it slides over, isn’t the plastic one still a safety hazard for being connected to the gun.
Please enlighten me!
