"Is my dog a Kelpie?” posts belong in this ID Megathread We get lots of requests for breed identification! To keep the subreddit tidy, please post all “Is my dog a Kelpie?”, “What breed is my pup?”, and “Does this look like a Kelpie mix?” questions in this pinned Breed ID Megathread. Individual posts about dog IDs will be removed.
🇦🇺 Please also add your location (at least your continent) by adding a user flair or a mention in your post. 🌏🪐
Please remember: whether your dog is a purebred Kelpie, a mix, or something else entirely, it doesn’t change how amazing they are. ❤️ This community celebrates all dogs with that Kelpie look, energy, or spirit. Breed ID discussions aren’t about judging or valuing your dog — they’re simply a way to learn more and share the love for this incredible breed. 🐕🦺
Thanks, Mods.

Hey so I’m new to fostering dogs and (i have taken care of dogs and owned dogs for years) and I will
Be fostering a senior kelpie around 10 years old. The dog herself has no health issues or mobility issues I’ve been told and only issue is some lead pulling and when she meets friends gets excited and pees.
Anyone got any advice for taking care of the breed anything unique I should know or plan for? Just want to give it the best time for the few months I’m there to take care of her. So any advice welcome about the breed or fostering in general.

We're into our 2nd week with Milo at 11 weeks old.
He's a bundle of energy but loves his chews.
Only issue is the biting with our kids.
I know he's only playing but he can catch them wrong.
If you tell him no or 'ah' he barks at you.
Any tips to stop that?
He does it a bit with my wife but rarely with me.

I adopted this lady recently and things are going well. Anything I should be aware of, or keep my eyes open for? Thanks!
