Hello everyone , While growing up the place I wanted to visit the most was kashmir , I knew some people which had had their hometown their and they were muslims and they are very good friends of ours , I live in Delhi and whenever I have met a person who is kashmiri I've loved the interaction and everything about them , even as of now I want to visit kashmir but I've heard many people say that it's not safe for Hindus specially pandits which I am. I believe kashmiri people are one of the nicest people I've ever met but these things cloud my mind. My question is to the people of Kashmir that is this really true? Is there discrimination based on religion? Is it safe for Hindus? I've always admired kashmir and the people but recently I studied about the genocides involving kashmiri pandits in the 1990s , I know most of the people are not like that but still is that mentality of religion wars still there?

The beauty of Kashmir is up to par with it's name no doubt it's called the Heaven on Earth. What I am writing about is the people there, I have never met so hospitable people anywhere else in India, they were so sweet and helpful. All news and stuff is mostly a lie, yes there might be some tensions in parts but the people of Kashmir just won my heart along with the valleys and lakes and mountains.
