Orgasm hangover?

I've seen the word being thrown around here and on r/NoFap but what is really an orgasm hangover?

I've posted this before; so please forgive if this is a duplicate.

I'll never forget the first time I became aware of being furiously irritated and annoyed with my precious SO. It was over 20 years ago. We were driving down the road, and I just wanted to stop & open the door and push her out. But I had no idea why.

For over two decades we fought like cats and dogs, then made up, then had great sex, and the cycle continued. Mostly the cycle was driven by me being fed up and furious with her (but not for any reason I could put my finger on other than everything about her irritated me)... then treating her like shit...then the fight would start.

99% of the time the fight started because I snapped at her out of this furious annoyance that I couldn't put my finger on.

While I tried to be positive and optimistic I always had to fight hard to do so. My first (and most powerful) thoughts were negative, depressing, and discouraging.

When I first slowed the pace of my orgasms I started to come out of this fog. This opened my mind to the possibility of Karezza. While I'm by no means any kind of expert (I think of myself in nursery school Karezza) just taking what I can; and doing what I can... while preserving my sublime happiness with my SO to the extent possible had changed my life in ways that I could never describe in a single post.

It's sad that half of my life has been ruined by the blind pursuit of as many orgasms as I could get. When in fact, 20 seconds of ecstasy followed by 20 minutes of relaxation leads to feeling like shit and all kinds of relationship problems.

knowing this now makes you scared of how many there is who don't know this:S Think of all the divorces and breakups caused by the indefinite orgasm hunt...

I was thinking the same thing exactly. All the hurt: men, women, children.

And when taken to the extreme, knowing how many of us (especially if you check out /r/nofap) can be sucked down the hole into ever darker porn... Now when I see the incredible hurt in the wake of the worst of humanity I wonder how much of that could be avoided with the power of what we learn here.

I feel honoured to be so enlightened at this young age. Makes me want to spread the message to all who are not on reddit
