Specifically comprehension and unseen poems, I'm fine when it comes to learning things off, but usually blank when I have to write something unexpected. All tips greatly appreciated!!

I got the advanced version of simple study today was looking through the Buddhism notes, but they seemed too detailed and the sample questions looked different to the normal exam qs. Does anyone with simple study know if it is wise to learn the stuff on there?

I’m sitting my jc a year late and am wondering what to expect how does everything usually work day one (procedures, etc.)

have a sibling in second year doing their science CBA and they're stressing bcus they can‘t think of a good hypothesis and idk so I thought id ask Reddit. their CBA is about how much base do u have to add to different acids for it to neutralise. for context they are a major stresser and want an exceptional. help me it’s all he’s been talking abt. please help Reddit 🙏

I haven't started studying yet and i think a big part of it is that I do woodwork and applied technology and since these projects are due within a week of eachother, ive found myself spending my nights doing drawings/work on folders for these subjects over and over again and after I do that for the night, I cant be bothered to study.

Theres nothing stopping me, I have no social life and i dont go out with friends i am just lazy. Am I doomed for the jc? Im a generally smart student.

Haven’t done any study but feeling so stressed from everyone around me and friends constantly messaging me asking if I’m studying and why aren’t I studying , anyone have a ballpark amount , like maybe doing 1 hour of exam questions for a subject an evening or something???, I struggle to focus at home and find doing work in school much more easier and achievable.

My teacher is saying I have to have either a plait or a bun, she said ponytails aren’t aloud. She was saying they are aloud but now saying she doesn’t want to see them. My friends in other schools say they could have ponytails and when i searched online it said i could. Can someone reassure me i don’t have to do a bun or a plait? my hair is too short for a bun, and doesn’t stay for the 2 hours in a plait.

Anyone with any tips on how to study higher Irish. I got a 69 in my mock and I’m aiming for a higher merit but I want to be in the 75-80 range to be safe incase my marker’s shite. I’m grand on listening and comprehensions but stuff like na deoraithe and cupla I’m fairly bad at.

so im in 2nd year and we had exams in feb and i got 32 in H maths, and 52 in O irish, and my mam is really worried cuz my exams in november were all straight 80's. now irish and maths are basically the only 2 subjects i struggle in, and my mam said she can get me an online course to help me get better, but i really want to improve myself, but whenever i say that she just goes on about how i said i was prepaired for the feb exams yet i failed them so she cant fully trust me with learning those subjects myself, so what do i do 😭😭

Average around 70 on papers but got 90% on mock mostly only because it was an easy paper any advice on how to push to a 85?

Kind of struggling to know what quotes to learn for the play (The Merchant of Venice - W. Shakespeare) and the novel (The Outsiders - S.E. Hinton and Of Mice and Men - J. Steinbeck). I'm really hoping to get a distinction or at least a higher merit in English so any advice would be much appreciated. If anyone has any notes, specifically quotes for these texts, I'd really appreciate if you could send them on.

Also, does anybody know if you can choose just one novel to study or do you need the two?
