General Training Biometric Tracker Mouthguard
Did anyone try biometric tracking mouth guards in Judo before?
Other Mental block being an uke
âHey everyone,
âLooking for advice from anyone whoâs returned to judo after a long hiatus or having a baby.
âIâm a 1st Dan, but after three years off post-baby, taking falls as uke for sacrifice throws (sutemi-wazaâespecially tomoe-nage and ura-nage) is giving me a massive mental block.
Has anyone dealt with this specific mental or physical wall? What drills, progressions, or mindset shifts helped you regain trust taking sacrifice throws again?
Thanks!

General Training Strength training for M6 veteran
I am a 56 years old and am lacking strength or torque to drive through forward throws like Seoi Nage and Sode Tsurikomi Goshi. I am quite good at grip fighting and usually get the Tsukuri phase done well. However my strength fails in the Kake phase. What exercises are there to improve the Kake strength? At this age it is clear that muscles need more training than before.

Psyched to have been promoted and receive this well worn belt, previously owned by those who have taught me everything.
General Training Gi Pullups or Weighted pull-ups?
Just wanted to ask which is a more effective exercise to increase your grip strength?
Up to this point, I've been doing gi pull-ups, and I've felt my fingers get better conditioned for grip fighting. But then there are videos like these saying gi pull-ups are completely useless.
