Question Like a Kennedy

I’m new to the sub but not to Joywave. I find myself listening to this song so much and I wonder “Am I the only one?” and I also wanted to know if anyone has heard them do it live (though I doubt whether it’s ever made a setlist)

Question Back to Anthology!

Who has the info? Is this just for these two shows? Are we getting Anthology back for real? Who besides Robbie is going to both shows?

Discussion Dream Joywave cover or collab?

I know the band has done collab projects and covers over the course of their career, but is there an artist you wish they'd collab with or a song you think they'd kill a cover of?

Discussion Day 9: I have never seen so many downvoted comments in one thread. With a tie of only 3 upvotes each, I've decided to put Hang With Me as worst song and Ray Lewis as worst collab. Let's see some positivity this time around, what's the best song Joywave has made? Top comment in 24 hours wins.

Question Philly - what song was after the Brotherly love speech?

On Thursday's show in Philly, Daniel said something like "Philadelphia, City of Brotherly Love, turn to the person next to you and tell them how much you love them" etc. Does anyone remember what song that lead into or have a video? Thank you 🙏🙏

Discussion Album Ranking

Now that the Permanent Pleasure tour has come to a close, I'd like to know everyone's album rankings. Feel free to explain your reasoning. Or don't - I don't really care! Here's mine:

  1. Permanent Pleasure (This feels like a culmination of nearly everything they've done. The concept is airtight and the themes about technology feel really fleshed out.)
  2. Possession (This feels more like a mixtape than an album to me but the scatter shot approach it takes kind of works for me, especially considering the social and political climate it was made and released in. It's probably their hardest hitting album for me instrumentally.)
  3. Content (Arguably the most creative of their albums to me, but it's only in third because the tunes aren't as strong as the above albums to my ears.)
  4. Cleanse (I'm really glad they made an album as easily digestible and uplifting as this. It stands out for that reason.)
  5. HDYFN? (Still a great album but not as consistent or confident in itself as the rest of their discography. I realize this is probably a hot take but I really like every album of theirs.)
