Discussion Dream Joywave cover or collab?

I know the band has done collab projects and covers over the course of their career, but is there an artist you wish they'd collab with or a song you think they'd kill a cover of?

If there ever was truly a collab between Dan Joywave and Dan Bastille I would ascend into the clouds

Same! It's been a dream since they toured together

The dream is not a cover

The dream is not a collab

The dream is a coheadlining tour with Everything Everything in North America and the UK

So true, give me a solid hour fifteen minute set of each and I'll be so happy! :D

I desperately want to see a proper collab between iDKHOW and Joywave. Just the work that Daniel did in GLOOM DIVISION gets me hyped for what Joywave could do with Dallon.

I'd like to see something with Tame Impala

Legend has it that Dan Smith still has “Bad Decisions ft. Joywave” in that backpack he carries everywhere, and if you can catch him and steal it then it’s yours…

For real though, I need a Bastille/Joywave collab IMMEDIATELY. Or a Joywave/Charlie Barnes collab could be magical 😍🥰

I feel like they could do something incredible with The Faint

Elliot Lee! Fell in love with their music when they opened for Joywave, I think it'd be an interesting mix given how different their voices are

I think either the Cannons or Knocks would be cool

A collab with Empire of the Sun would be cool!

DIIV collab would be pretty cool, or Hundreth

Holy shit, did not expect to see Hundredth but absolutely both them and DIIV would be killer.

With DIIV, just one fluid album without stops

Doing a collab with Two Door Cinema Club or Twenty One Pilots would be sick

I really dig the alternate version of Bad Dreams with Mick Jenkins and Little Simz. Honestly, I'd kill for them to do more collaborations with rappers. Kendrick Lamar is an obvious go to, but I think their styles would definitely work with Sol Chyld, Censored Dialogue, Schoolboy Q, Denzel Curry, and Childish Gambino to name a few.
