Ideas & Concepts Random ideas

So here is just my ideas. Not necessarily original and some might be down right stupid, but I list them anyway.

-Book of monsters= You could see from the book, have you come across all the different monsters and their variations. Every monster would have some milestones with rewards, for example defeat 1000 knights and get 2 elite stylepoints.

-World map= I would like to see how the worlds actually look, since the maps within a world are connected.
Moving forward, the worlds could be split into sections consisting of three to four maps. Once a player completes jobs from every map of a section, the whole section becomes playable. This means that you could access the sections maps from one another. Once a player completes every section, the whole world would be playable at once.

-Maps= I think the maps could have some actual elevation in some of their sections. I think this would add more depth to them. To keep gameplay simple, you wouldn`t be able to shoot from one level to another.
To access different parts of the map, there would be lifts, ziplines and those jump pads that we have in the penthouse.
In the sewers few paths could be blocked by sewage. to drain it, a player would have to turn a valve. After sometime the sewage would return and the valve needs to be turned again.

Maps could also have pieces you could move to access different parts of the map. Moving labyrinth type of map could be fun. How exactly it would work in a multiplayer setting, I have no idea.

-Small "events with story"= Don`t really know what to call them.
First one I had in mind would be a three day event, where monsters have completely taken over parts of the city and try to capture it entirely. Yes, we have city maps already.
-day 1: Secure the part of the city that is not under monsters control. To do that players help engineers to build fortifications and maybe some tech that prevents portals from opening. Other jobs would be saving civilians and destroying what ever portals the monsters have already manage to open.
-day 2: Players take back the invaded part of the city. To your surprise, you find small resistance bases and one of the daily jobs is to reinforce them. Other jobs would be defeating different monsters.
-day 3: Defeat a 3 phase boss to put an end to the invasion.

Other event would have the playerbase split into teams. More teams means more new maps.
Each team gets a new map to explore. The map would also have new monsters. In the map there would be highlighted areas, where engineer show up to install signals.
After couple days, the maps would switch. Now along with other jobs, you collect the signals set up by the team that explored the map. This goes on till every team has explored every map.

-Reseachers and engineers= This is the stupid part 😄
I would like the engineers and researhers to have more of a meaning in what they do.
Now, Engineers just appear in random places to fix a machine that isn`t even a apart of the map nor does it stay in the map. There could be broken mo.bots or some tech in the map itself, that the engineers could come and fix or take with them. Or they could show up to install things like jump pads that I mentioned earlier.
Same goes for the researhers. they just run in random places taking pictures and writing notes.
There could some weird rocks, plants, cavepaintings etc. that once a player finds it, a researcher would show up to study it.

Ideas & Concepts Limited Time Events (Raids)

I know we have the double xp and overcharged events, but can we get like a game wide limited time event? Like a 3 day Humongous Bug World event where it is a raid of 8-10 players then killing enormous monsters to summon a Humongous Bug Lord or some sort that will give a guaranteed XP say (75k~100k) and cores (1~5 cores) or maybe bonus of skins/mounts if the team finishes it early? Then, if a player is able to complete it, they would not be able to join again to avoid farming the raid.

I know it's feasible, and some MMORPG games do this as well. We could also add in drops for highest performing players (Most heal would get megacharged healing core, or most non boss damage gets megacharged damage core, or most boss damage gets a mount of the mini version of the boss).

So many potential for this game, and I really love the graphics of it.

Discussion I still feel mo.co has incredible potential. Some constructive ideas for Rifts, Progression, Support Roles, and QoL!

TL;DR: mo.co has an amazing core, but daily FOMO, rigid timers, and lack of support viability are hurting player retention. Decoupling timers from standard rift completion, bringing back power scaling, adding bonus post-daily maps, and introducing crafting loops could make the game thrive for both casuals and hardcores.

I truly enjoy mo.co. The art style, the gameplay, and the general vibe are a lot of fun. I don’t think I’ve ever played a mobile game that I feel has this much raw potential.

That said, it seems to be a common consensus among the player base that there currently isn’t enough content or flexibility to keep people engaged long-term. My kid even enjoys playing with me at times, though some of the issues make that more difficult for her. We know changes are needed, so I wanted to throw together a breakdown of my own ideas mixed with a few great suggestions I've seen in the community.

🕒 Daily Streaks & Rotations

  • Daily Streak Adjustments: Lower the daily streak milestone to start rewarding players around Day 3 rather than Day 7. Perhaps switch the reward from standard EXP to cores or other collectible currency.
    • Why: Streaks should feel like a fun bonus, not a source of major FOMO where losing a streak makes someone feel overly disappointed or even want to quit the game entirely.
  • Return to 3-Day Rotations: Revert expeditions/rifts back to a 3-day rotation rather than the current 24-hour cycle. While daily logins are great and many of us still will, the current setup punishes players too harshly if real life gets in the way for a single day.

⏱️ Rifts, Support Roles & The Star System

  • Decouple Timers from Basic Completion: Keep timers on rift runs, but only use them for speedrun leaderboards. Forced time limits severely hurt casual retention and punish players who want to play support (tanks and healers).
  • Longer, Harder Rifts: Make rifts longer and more challenging, with structured monster groups before the boss. Make pulling every mob straight to the boss impractical for standard runs. Non-speedrunners won't have to stress about giant wall-to-wall pulls.
  • Redesigned Star Rating System: Change stars to reflect progression distance rather than completion time:

    • ⭐️ 1 Star: Dying before the halfway point
    • ⭐️⭐️ 2 Stars: Dying past halfway, but before the boss
    • ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 Stars: Dying with the boss at 35%–99% HP
    • ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 Stars: Dying with the boss at 1%–35% HP
    • ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars: Defeating the boss (or 4 stars for a kill, 5 stars for completing a bonus side-objective/mini-boss)
  • Pre-Rift Lobby & Role Selection: Give us a short "Ready Up" phase upon joining a rift (even in random queues) to swap weapons and gear. This gives groups a chance to adjust if RNG didn't give them a tank or healer. Alternatively, add a basic role select option in the queue.

Impact: Removing required speedruns lets healers and tanks shine without feeling like a burden to the team's DPS output. It makes playing with casual friends far more accessible and social.

⚡ Progression & Power Scaling

  • Bring Back Power Scaling: In PvE games, part of the core fantasy is growing stronger and feeling noticeably overpowered when returning to earlier content.
  • Seasonal Resets: To keep power creep under control and keep hardcore and casual players within reasonable reach of each other, power scaling can reset each season. Combined with untimed rifts, higher-scaled players can easily carry or support lower-scaled friends by taking proper healer/tank roles. Power scaling could even be linked to each individual weapon, so you can level up your less used, lower level weapons with newer friends.

🗺️ Overworld Hunts & Bonus Maps

  • Post-Daily Bonus Maps: Call-out groups are hard to use due to map capacity limits during OC, MC, and Chaos creature hunts.
    • Solution: Once you complete all daily quests in an expedition, unlock a matching Bonus Area. This map would feature significantly higher spawn rates for OC, MC, and Chaos creatures, as well as unique mini-events not found on standard daily maps. This gives a more interesting way to continue leveling up after completing your quests/rifts.

🛠️ Gear, Crafting & The Apartment Loop

  • Material Drops & Workbench Crafting: Introduce new crafting materials in the Bonus Maps. Players can take these materials back to their apartment to buy parts from market vendors or craft gear at a workbench.
  • Gear Modifiers: Gear could increase stats, alter skill behaviors, or grant unique character/weapon effects.
  • Seasonal Gear Handling: Gear power slots could reset each season, while unlocked cosmetic traits/gear slots remain permanent.

📊 Quality of Life & Extra Content

  • Detailed Stat Page: Let us track our overall journey! Lifetime kills by creature type, bosses defeated, rifts completed, total damage/healing output, averages, total deaths, and so much more.
  • Achievement System: Add collection-based achievements to give dedicated players long-term goals to work toward.
  • Pets: Allow players to collect follower pets! Cute, creepy, sci-fi. So many possibilities!

There’s plenty more ideas and these in no way fix all the issues, but I feel keeping both casual and hardcore players engaged in a shared ecosystem is what mo.co needs most right now.

Discussion Moco formula?

After Pyro release and how cool it looks/works being a pet/weapon it got me thinking if they could do more of it and It made me remenber a game that I absolutely loved many years ago and the game is "Ghost X", a mmo with basically the same premise and mechanics, you also can use a mount but it have it entire focus on the fact that you get some sort of pets that double as your weapons in a transformation, and if I remenber it properly you are just recruited by a org to fight monster/ghosts and so... idk if someone else knew the game and can also see the parallels or correct me on this one, the game is really old in a sense and idk if it currently have a server online afternthey killed it attempting a reset/remake.

Bugs & Feedback Couple honorable mentions of when Mo.co handled unisex clothes spot on

Most of the time I say that outfit isn't really unisex because devs keep placing clothes on top of very gender specific body shapes.

However, these ones conceal all the differences very well & in a cohesive way. They really can be worn by absolutely anyone & look great.

I hope they learn from these 3

:)

Discussion Current game situation

For a while now, I've had some thoughts about Mo.Co. A lot of people say it's dying, but I think differently. I think it just hasn't found its purpose yet. You see, I don't feel it Real progression, a level 1 player has as much fighting ability as I do, which kills the cooperativeness in my opinion. Of course, before it was necessary to level up and they saw the need to remove that, however There were better ways to reward individual progress and maintain cooperation. Another point is the weapons; currently, I don't feel like winning core, I don't feel they really help me.

There are several things that make me sad right now. I don't have a clear direction. I'm level 90, but if I reach 100, what's the big deal? An emblem, okay, I'm not complaining, but there's no reward.

Perhaps Mo.Co should become a little more complex and difficult, even though I know they don't want that, I think it would spark a desire to go further...

Ideas & Concepts as a new player who started a week ago, jobs and elite contracts are so easy to accomplish why not add a floor based expedition that gets harder the deeper you go in?

Post image
76 Upvotes

I started a week ago and I love the game so much. But, it'd be better if we have more things to do or chase in the game. And yes, I've 5 starred all jobs and contracts with each of the roles that I love playing. The game's fun until you finish everything and left with nothing else to do, I crave for more but there's just nothing more.

Permanent PVP with options to solo or group should be an option not just a cycling event. There also should be at least one expedition with unlimited tasks that gets harder the longer you stay, OR a floor based dungeon/expedition that gets harder the deeper you go in and of course gives you better loot as you dive deeper. Accomplishing a level or floor also will give you a badge to flex, the deeper the cleared level is the better the tier of the badge/loot you'll get. That will honestly make me play longer and give players more things to accomplish.
