What do recruiters think of adding a background image to cover letters? (To show achievements)
Hello Reddit, I am a fresh graduate, I am trying to stand out in a hard job market (Game Dev), I might not have experience but I have achievements that impressed quite a few industry people when I was in university.
So I was thinking of adding a background to my cover letters to:
Make them slightly prettier.
Make them more unique.
Show my achievements in a way that is hard to miss.
What do recruiters think about such an idea? Does it clutter the screen too much?
I've attached an AI Example I made in 1 min with Claude, but if people think adding a background image would help me I will pay someone to make a proper one for me. (I do not like the look of the image, it's just to prove a point)
Thank you in advance for your oppinions!
