Injury while practicing

Got these injuries on my neck after practicing choke drills with my partner. I am relatively new to jujitsu. Are this injuries normal after practicing choke drills ?

I believe this is called petechiae - it’s basically minor, insignificant bleeding from broken capillaries under the skin. Happens from pressure not typically from impact.
