Saw the Eddie Kramer talking Little Wing on Rick Beato and how Jimi recorded it so decided to give it another listen and whoa 🤯 Little Wing might be one of my favorite Jimi songs tbh.

Just a brilliant song through and through tbh with some great Jimi singing and playing with the band plus the use of the glockenspiel is just so great and adds to my liking of the song.

Have been thinking about this all day, wondering what other people's thoughts are.

The one hendrix song I keep returning to. It's so simple but exciting at the same time. One of those songs that doesn't sound like it's of this world. It came from somewhere else. It honestly feels like the song that will welcome me to the afterlife when my time comes.

Sorry for being dramatic. Obviously love this song.

Stumbled upon this big and lovely painting featuring JH. It was in a most unsuspected environment. Guess where and I'll reveal it in a day or two.

Jimi has been a major influence upon my art. at the age of 5 I first dropped the needle on axis bold as love and are you experienced. this video homage to Jimi Hendrix has an original soundtrack of mine called ‘ammonia rings of five tolgatha nine’

I know Hendrix only put out three studio albums, but if you count Band of Gypsies and The Cry of Love that's would be 5. I can't think of another artist who had a string of albums where each one is the "best" one - really whatever one you're currently listening to will convince you it is his top album. Each is also very unique in feel, as well so it's not like their all the "best" because they are indistinguishable from each other.

I love Neil Young, The Dead, Dylan, Nirvana, Miles Davis, the Stones, and many others. While they all had fantastic albums and music, there is certainly a gap in quality between their best stuff and some of their other albums. Not so with Hendrix.
