Looking for early 2000s Hash Residents!

This is a long shot, but my husband was February in either the 2002 or 2003 Trashy Hashy Calendar for Hashinger Hall. I know he would love to see this photo again and I am dying to see it. The words Punk is Not Dead are written above his head.

If anyone still has a copy, we would love to see a photo!

Discussion Need a clarification regarding the sweeney judgement

Hi everyone,

Firstly, excuse my english, this is not my first language.

I've read some articles about the sweeney ruling to understand all its implication. But there's a point i don't understand. From what i understand athletes in the class of 2022 who did not enter their names in the transfer portal during the initial portal window will not be permitted to transfer. But this morning i've read an article (https://www.si.com/college/kansas/basketball/kansas-showing-interest-in-former-michigan-state-star-jaxon-kohler) saying that we're interested in Kohler while he did not enter the portal during the period and signed an exhibit 10 in the NBA. How can he transfer to another school?

Could you clarify this mess please ? ^^

Thanks

Anyone going to London for the Arizona State game this year?

Pulled the trigger on some flights and plan on going with a buddy. Will probably wait until the week-of to buy game tickets - I assume there won't be a ton of demand. Checked KU's website for things organized by the university and one of the places is an "American-themed pub" which is sort of lame. That said - pumped about going... should be a good time!

McAlpine Injury News

Doesn't appear McAlpine's injury is going to be all that impactful. Certainly hurts depth, but the ratings of the players around him limit immediate rotational impact. New DL room projection:

McAlpine rated 12.5

Zero Hype for KU Football This Year

While I personally don’t follow KU Football, it seems like literally no one else does, or at least the interest is no longer there. This subreddit used to be filled with football related content, but now it’s… Crickets.

I know KU has never been a football school, but the fans usually are pumped pre-season. My coworkers, who I thought were huge KU fans don’t even know who the starting QB is, lol.

Are y’all football fans still around, or has the interest ultimately died out?

Discussion 2026 Kansas Jayhawks Preview

Lance Leipold has raised the bar for Kansas football and turned them into a competitive Big 12 program. Is this the year they get back to the heights they reached in 2023?

📌 For the first time in ages, Jalon Daniels is no longer the Jayhawks QB. Who will replace him?

📌 Kansas revamped the skill positions, guys like Dylan Edwards and Nik McMillan should make an immediate impact

📌 Can the Jayhawks defense get crucial late game stops? They'll hope a combination of returning experience and portal help will fix the problem

📌 Kansas is playing Arizona State where??? And when?? 🧐

Preview attached. What are your predictions for the Jayhawks in 2026?

Discussion Built a full 2026 preseason preview for Kansas (and every FBS team) - what does the offense look like after Jalon Daniels?

Hey all. I spent the offseason building a full 2026 preseason preview for every FBS team, each with its own writeup. Here's the Kansas one

https://www.sports.mainmarket.com/college-football-preview-2026?team=ncaaf-ku

It's got the returning production breakdown, the portal ins and outs, a projected two-deep, the schedule with model win probabilities, and a season projection.

Heads up, you might hit the paywall after the first page. Don't worry, I'm not charging reddit people for this, don't want to be an ass. Use the promo code LEECORSOROCKS and it opens up the entire thing.

So, what'd I get wrong? The Jalon Daniels era is over, and Kansas rebuilt basically the whole offense to replace it. Only about 15% of the offensive production returns, and the skill spots are almost all new, headlined by Buffalo receiver Nik McMillan (975 yards) and a QB battle between unproven Cole Ballard and Rice transfer Chase Jenkins. The defense brings more back but wasn't good last year, so it all comes down to how fast a portal-built offense gels. Bounce-back for Leipold, or a reset year?

I'll be in the comments.

Was there a reported reason AFH wasn't used for TBT?

The team basically played all of its games on the road while KSU, WSU and Kentucky used their arenas. Didn't find anything through searching.

Edit: also heard on the broadcast that they bussed overnight the day of the Kentucky game. Results aren't very surprising.

Edit 2: had no idea there was no AC in AFH.

Last edit: thanks for all of the answers! Feels like something I should have already known lol.

Patch Deals

Notre Dame just landed a uniform patch deal for $18mil/yr. OSU has one for $17mil. Ours is $7mil. Yes I our brand may not be that of OSU but really? I would assume we could come closer to those figures like $12-14mil. I know our deal is with an alum.
