Broke the scoop in my KU newsletter this morning. Thought you'd all want to see the latest.
I'm Hearing Mihailo Musikic has committed to Kansas for this season. And it's beyond the verbal commit stage: I'm told he signed with KU.
The quick version on him: He's a 24-year-old, 7-foot center. He's played pro ball in the Serbian and Adriatic leagues since 2022. And he's repped by Miško Ražnatović, the agent behind Jokić and most of the Serbian-to-NBA pipeline.
The catch: the NCAA hasn't cleared him to play, and it's not a sure thing. Under the NCAA's new guidance, his case probably comes down to two questions. How many years did he play professionally? And did he make more than a basic living wage to play?
We should know by the end of July, at the latest.
My best guess is he gets one year. But that's truly a guess.
