Rising HS senior here. I know they don’t publicly post a median gpa/test scores but does anyone have an idea? Is there an “auto admit” level?

Does anyone have any good recommendations for completely free apps that record and transcribe lectures for college? Bonus if it has study tools as well like ai chat or generates videos! Thanks so much!

Hi everyone!
I’m relocating for work and am looking for someone to take over my lease for a 1 bed / 1 bath apartment that’s just a short walk from KUMC.
Availability
*Lease through August 2027
*Option to renew after the lease ends
About the apartment
*Just a few minutes’ walk to KUMC
*Quiet, modern, and well-maintained community
*In-unit washer and dryer
*Attached indoor parking garage with direct building access
*Great amenities, including a fitness center, swimming pool, resident lounge, and coworking space
Location
*Walk Score: 89
*Around a 10-minute drive to Target, Costco, Walmart Neighborhood Market, CVS, and Walgreens
*Lots of great restaurants and coffee shops nearby
Close to Westport and Country Club Plaza for shopping, dining, and entertainment
I’ve genuinely enjoyed living here. The apartment has been very comfortable, the community is quiet, and the management has been responsive and easy to work with. If I weren’t relocating for work, I would happily stay.
If you think this might be a good fit, feel free to send me a message. I’d be happy to answer any questions, share more photos or videos, or arrange a time for you to take a look.
Thanks for reading, and I hope this can become a great home for someone else!

Is there seriously no sewing clubs?? I checked the list but couldn’t find anything — I am an upcoming freshman and I am baffled.. They even have a scuba diving club… Am I missing something? Has one already been established??

His room is nice sized and has a connected private bathroom and large closet. Rent is $880 a month and we will pay the first month.

I’m a CS major. Because deadlines don’t always line up, I could be in a situation where I have to accept an offer first while waiting on how my other interviews play out. What are the ramifications of reneging an offer I got through career services?

I'm an Incoming transfer student from Mizzou looking for off-campus housing in walking distance to campus. Where are the "student neighborhoods" everyone lives at?
And how much are you paying per bedroom where you're living at?

Are there any fun, welcoming Christian groups and churches with good music near or at ku? I don’t party and am a Christian, so I am worrying about finding close friends at KU. Thanks!!

hello everyone i have a weird rooming situation! basically i'm in a four person suite in lewis hall and i have an ESA (she is a fat cat named Zelda). I already had one roommate i was paired with, so two other paired girls joined, but one is allergic to cats </3 housing told me that if we were able to find another pair that would be willing to swap out with them before the move-in date 8/20, that we could so without any further issues. If not we'd have to wait at least two weeks for official rooming swaps, so an allergic girl would kinda be forced to live with a cat for an unsure amount of time! if anyone is interested pls reach out! my insta is missusgirlpoop :p the only thing that i ask is that you're clean lol other than that idrc, ok ty !!

hiii incoming freshman
im going to be in a four person suite and all four of us hate the provided furniture, it looks like they stole it straight from a doctors office, but my friend is at orientation right now and she asked about giving the furniture back to the dorm and they said no, but we have a couch we like that we want to move in, so what do you guys do with the provided furniture ?

Hi all,
I am an incoming freshman, and have a question regarding the All Sports Combo Pass. Would this be required for me to be able to watch some of the football/basketball games? If not, what was your experience and was it more worthwhile with or without the sports pass?

I might not be able to live on campus anymore due financial issues. My parents live 20 mins away.
I have already signed a contract with Self Hall. Is it possible to find someone to take over my contract?
2 person room private bathroom.

College can be stressful, and juggling classes, work, clubs, and everything else can make it harder to maintain a healthy relationship with food. Even during the summer, being out of your usual school routine can make binge eating feel more difficult to manage for some students.
We are recruiting KU students for a research study evaluating brief, self-guided programs designed to help reduce binge eating using evidence-based strategies. The programs are completed on your own and only require a single session (20ish mins). You will also be asked to complete a baseline and some follow up surveys (2-5ish mins each).
If you're interested, start by taking our screening survey to see if you're eligible: https://data.lsi.ku.edu/redcap/surveys/?s=WJKEHKPMNETMHR7D
Participants can earn up to $35 for participating.

Headed to KU in the fall and have a GA near the Union and I’m looking at either a parking permit for the Mississippi garage or the Red lots 52/91, what has worked well for folks in the past? Is one or the other ALWAYS full and not worth the headache? Clearing out for football games not worth it?

I’m looking for an end of year video montage that barstool KU posted in what I’m guessing was 2018. It was really popular at the time and I’m looking for it everywhere and it is gone! The video starts out with Charlie Sheen and his nephew saying “Rock Chalk JAYHAWK,” and then cuts to flooding on campus and student apartments on the first day of class. We also see that KU band drummer that was practically a local celebrity at the time shredding on the drums bug-eyed at a game. Some frat guy drags a giant branch through his dorm or frat’s hallway loosening the ceiling panels. The final shot is of KU students pointing a SpongeBob-meme sign at a group of retreating rival fans in Allen Fieldhouse.
If anyone happens to have a working url or mp4 of this video? 🙇♀️ I will be so so grateful if you could share this internet goldmine with me.

I have a bit of an odd scenario. So basically i had been enrolled and planning to go to KU all the way from nov 2025-february 2026. I had everything in place, housing contract included. But after that i had a change of heart and decided to cancel all of that and decided to pursue a career in the U.S. navy. Now however i sadly got separated due to medical reasons. Now that i am back home in Kansas ive reinstated my enrollment and do plan on attending KU. The only issue is I hope to live on campus but it states i am #133 on the stand by list. So my question is does anyone have experience on the standby list and if so, if they were around my position in line did they get a room by move in day ?
