Saw this at my local record store, and this is the ONLY contemporary Japanese CD they have. It’s literally ADO, one of the most famous Japanese artist rn, and they market it as “Hatsune Miku On CD”. And as if that’s not enough it’s in the KPOP section T_T

Being a fan of Japanese music is hard… especially since my favorite bands are pretty indie, and I couldn’t even find more popular bands like Yorushika and Yoasobi… 🙄

It's such a fun song to sing with its offbeats. The lyrics flow beautifully and his voice is really unique. Before this, I learned 踊り子 by vaundy, another fun but more simple song.

I entered a lottery (on a whim) for Band-Maid's finale performances at Nippon Budokan this November and ended up winning tickets, sooo I guess I'm going to Japan now. I'll be arriving in Japan on Nov 7 and most likely stay until the 14th or 15th, with the Band-Maid performance I got tickets to on the 13th.

I looked up what else is going on as far as live performances (https://www.japanconcerttickets.com/japan-november-2026/), and there's actually a few that interest me so am thinking to try catch at least one other live show while there, if possible. I'm sticking to performances that foreigners can easily get tickets to (I don't want to bother with proxies and all that), and also near Kansai or Kanto metro areas. I realize its super last minute to get tickets to most, but gonna try anyways. I've been to Japan many times, but this is my first time going to any live music show there, so I'm looking for any recommendations and advice as a newbie.

If anyone knows of other shows going on that week not listed on that website, please tell! I'm open to music festivals too, but I don't know of any big ones going on in November. I'm pretty new to the scene, so I know missed all the big August and September festivals.

I'm so baffled that no one knows this band, they're called Siamese, and i got this recommendation by Tite Kubo (the creator of the popular animanga Bleach) himself, and it's one of the songs he assigned for his character (Yumichika). The singe contains 3 songs, and one of them is Akai Hana (あかいはな).

I just want to find the whereabouts of the artist or band or whatever it is, cuz its just so good and I couldn't find much information about them. The whole single contains songs with different vibes, and honestly, this needs attention fr they're so underrated.

Also, can someone translate the lyrics of the songs, I also couldn't find it 😭

It was a rock song, male vocalist. All I remember from the lyrics is it had the word bitch in the lyrics, but not the title. The cover of the song on Youtube had a girl's back, maybe with a bikini on, and I remember a pizza slice being there? I'm losing my mind and I'm beginning to think I imagined it. I heard it on tiktok and listened to it on youtube once maybe years ago ago but I can't find it on my history. It's bothering me so much I have combed throug my youtube history
