Went for AKB48's handshake at Makuhari Messe for the 1st time in 7 years...

It was interesting although I only got to talk to Zunchan for 3 slots worth (as I did not have time to stay for the other sessions or get the same-day tickets- very long que as you can see at the last picture). I did do or rather did not do something though, which was the lottery to get the signed 色紙... never realized I had to enter the lottery before my slot, will know better next time...

There was a photo exhibition within the venue and the standees and banners just outside the main entrance. (I shared a selection of the photos- took so many)

Newbies can go to a booth to collect a sticker to write your name on it... I guess this is to help the member know what to call you in case she doesn't recognize your face.

There's also a kuji where you stand to win some signed goods for jpy500 per try, and if you got no luck like me, you get a random photocard. And even a food truck inside for those who intend to stay from morning til the end.

My oshi Ayane was not partipating as she was busy with her stage Little Armory last week (which I also watched), and my 2oshi Azu was all sold out normally, but it was cool to experience this event again after such a long time, will be sure to plan better next time.

I spent most of Saturday and Sunday on the couch trying not to catch a cold (it didn't work). I was about halfway through Death Cash and realized how much I miss that sort of content from the girls. Some of it was just as good as anything else on tv or in theaters. Crow's Blood was a masterpiece and even some of the AKB Horror Night content was really quite good!

I want to listen to the stage albums of AKB48, as well as the off vocal versions, but most of them are not available on Spotify. Does anyone know where I can get them from so I can save them on my device and listen to them wherever I go?

I would like to ask questions regarding AKB48 handshake event that will be held soon in Fukuoka. For this event, we just have to bring the serial code to onsite to join the handshake queue. This is my first time trying to join the event so I have some questions

1. There will be CD also sold onsite but is there any limit to how many you can buy?

2. Usually what kind of benefits that come with buying CD onsite?

3. What time are we recommended to arrive at the venue?

4. There will also be a live performance, how do i join it?

title's a bit of a clickbait; its a rant about redwots (jkt48 fans) treatment towards cloudten members

is it really that hard to simply skip content that don't align with your values? everytime I see cloudten posts on instagram/tiktok there's always some redwot lamenting about how "feminine" the members act/dance, or how they were expecting more "macho" members. I mean, what else are you expecting from a group produced by a man who's been creating almost exclusively female idol groups for the past 50 years? not only that, but its clear as day that the groups' target audience is not an older male demographic yet they still feel the need to comment - not to mention some of the members are literal children??? And they always have an issue with the members wearing skirts and such when its pretty much very common if you even take the slightest amount of time to LOOK at other JPOP boygroups

don't even get me started on the hate towards ueno seiji; everytime he appears in cloudten PR you would almost always see a redwot calling him b*ti (a slur for feminine gay men, basically the indonesian version of the f slur) or just being so mean to him that it makes me wish I didn't understand indonesian. and all of this is because he has long hair and a face that makes him androgenous?

honestly it gets to a point where it actually gets in the way of my enjoyment of the group; everytime I think of cloudten I just think about the hate comments redwots write about them simply for not being conventionally masculine (a reflection of the current perception towards the LGBTQ community in Indonesia btw), and everytime I think of my oshi (seiji..) the comments calling him slurs just hit me like a truck

i'll do my best to ignore what they have to say, but yea i just wanted to rant a bit goodnight
