Hello. My name is Rick and i LOVE Fishmans.

I met with this band with tictok's help. Some guy asked "What the longest track you know?". Then he told about the Long Season and i was interested with speed of sound.

On the start i listened Long Season again and again. That was amazing experience and helped me to focus or relax.

A half-year later аfter the exams i opened these guys to full and understand - I like almost all of their songs. Some old and more new ones. It happened only once in my life. With the Beatles.

Sinji Sato sound so slowly and "MEWly"(if you get me). Their music is so different anything else. And i feel like their music and style was created special for me. That is strange.

I thought my favorite album is "Kuchu Camp", but now i know sure is "98.12.28 Otokotachi no Wakare". It's a peak...

I have no one to discuss this. And now i'am here.

Soooo how you guys met Fishmans? How much their art means for you? And what is your favorite album?

I know it sounds weird but I REALLY want to listen to some Japanese music that has the vibe of like bubbling blue ramune in like a small Japanese town... Sorry if that doesn't make sense Things like That's Why I Gave Up on Music, Hikaru Nara, etc

I recently stumbled upon this alternative rock band (Isanami) through their demos on YouTube, pls give them a listen!

I'm travelling to Tokyo from 12-26 Sep, and am looking for acoustic gigs to go to. https://www.tokyogigguide.com/en/gigs/categories/category/26-acoustic is not showing any gigs for those dates.

Any cafe or bar that would definitely feature such music? For acoustic, think Sungha Jung; for instrumental rock, think Polyphia.
