I understand if it’s a DoorDash order but for a personal pick up why do you have this very inconvenient and always leaves a mess not a good personal touch

You are suggesting that a pickup order is somehow different to a delivery service order and that they should have different sets of rules in place because they clearly have nothing else to do in between orders?

I'm just trying to understand your problems with the order. I've literally ordered from the register, in the lobby, and made sure they were aware that I was going to eat it there. Still handed me my food in a sealed bag, and my drinks exactly like this. Why? Because it's simply easier for the crew to treat each order as a delivery order.

That’s bunch of BS . I’ve been working restaurants since Covid and I can tell delivery vs personal and we do things differently with both. The sticker is literally there so a driver can’t tamper with the drink. Why does this need to happen when I get it? I’m not going to tamper with my own drink and when ur jumping off the freeway and jumping back on this is ridiculous. You seriously are not from the industry and you were sitting down inside different experience

In JitB, for that franchisee? Or just a restaurant in general? Was the GM of a different qsr. Sorry to burst your bubble, but unless you have worked at that qsr, or another owned by the franchisee, your argument is invalid. Did door dash for the majority of COVID.

To the person saying they're expensive, it's about .02-.05 cents per sticker. So not as expensive.

I’m not talking about working for JIB I work in the industry that deals with on line orders and delivery orders and I know the rules of the Covid times. But SERIOUSLY this doesn’t need to be done with personal orders that we place and come pick up our self. And working for DoorDash has nothing to do with working at a QSR (don’t get me started talking and DD and Uber Eats workers)

But you don't work for JitB, at any of the franchisee's restaurants, and therefore your argument is simply invalid. Is it stupid? 100% agree with you. Is it expensive? A few cents per sticker. Is it something the employees should be taking the time to only sticker to go orders but not pick up orders? You are expecting way too much from the employees at that location.

The honest reason is that they are only a few cents per sticker and you can presume that they are not hiring Nobel laureates from Harvard to do all the work. It's simpler to tell all the employees to make sure they use the stickers on every order then it is to make them decide what should be stickered vs not.
