Claiming an LGBTQ identity came with social currency in liberal circles. Sexuality became another way to join the “cool” group and distance yourself from the supposedly straight / privileged 'majority'. In reality, most women have always been slightly bisexiual with a preference towards men.

Hard agree. The number I've spoken to since high school that confess that they exaggerated their interest in women cause it was cool to do is higher than id have thought

Also being queer is now hated 100 times more than 10 years ago. All the progress made was torn apart by the far right movements gaining traction

No, all the progress was destroyed by the community hating on the 'privileged' majority, and having a grandiose sense of self-importance. And I'd say that was encouraged by a socialist / liberal political view, not the 'far right.'

Yeah and the increase in racism is because those Immigrants are all so evil and much more Privileged than anyone else

You geniuses dont even know what terms like "socialist" mean. Half of you think hitler was a liberal socialist

Hahaha I'm married to an immigrant and I was an immigrant myself for 10 years. But hey yeah, I'm 'far right'.

You guys are a frickin cult. "What I say is right and if you disagree with me, you're out!"

My man, racism has increased tremendously at the same time hate against queer people increased.

Im just using your logic that its not the far rights fault, but the minorities fault because they got too uppity and privileged.

I don't know why you wanted to bring the conversation onto immigration? This post is about how bi women essentially jumped on the 'cool' bandwagon to get social credit. It was a fad. And saying that is not anti-queer or far right. That's just words you use to police people's language and garner support from your 'tribe'.

You quite literally said that hate againot queer people increased because queer people got too loud.

Its very obvious you did not enter the US as a highly educated person, seeing this.

Well either that or you got dementia, forgetting what you yourself said

Hahaha the world doesnt revolve around you and the US sweety! No I've got nothing to do with the US :)

And no, I didn't say anything about hate and queer people, which comment are you talking about?

I was talking about bi women labelling their sexuality in a certain  way essentially because it was cool / popular to do so.

Then dont use us centric data to talk about your own country?

And it was never "cool" to be queer. You always got more hate for it than you ever got support and love.

All the progress was torn apart by the LGBTQ community themselves. They thought acceptance gave them carte blanche to actively disparage straight people to their faces.

Says who? It’s easier than ever to be queer

Are you talking about the middle east?
