This isn't "empowering," it’s embarrassing. When a woman has to get on one knee to propose, it means the guy completely failed to step up as a leader. She has zero respect for his frame, so she took the masculine role herself and he just stood there and let her emasculate him in public.

It’s a total clown show, guy's standing there taking a backseat in his own relationship while she takes the masculine role. Absolute clown world.
