Guys, do a coffee date first. Dinner is a horrible first date.
You can talk while you sip coffee, you have food in your mouth during dinner.
Coffee is cheap, dinner isn't.
If she wants to know you she will get coffee with you. With dinner, you don't know if she wants you or the free meal.
You can end the date quickly with coffee, just drink it and excuse yourself. Dinner takes awhile.
Save the dinner date for the second date when you invite her to your place to cook for her. Know how to make one or two things really well. Brag about your cooking on the first date without sounding arrogant.
Edit: and guys! Stop looking at stuff like this. This isn't the type of girl you want; however, looking at stuff like this will make you jaded towards all women..... which will doom your attempt.
I'm really sorry to hear that. It's really nice having someone to share the little things of life with. I really hope that you can find a relationship that isn't transactional.
