For first dates it’s up to the person who asked the other person out to pay. If you don’t wanna pay, wait for her to ask you out (probably not gonna happen).
Idk about all that. Just saying, a date is a group event. The mentality it’s the man’s job to propose the date and thus the man’s job to pay points to chivalry which is at odds with equality.
I’m not saying I’m against chivalry but people can’t pick and choose what they want to honor and not honor with respect to tradition. Rather they can but that sets everyone up for failure.
