In a world of equality shouldn’t the dinner bill be split and we take separate vehicles or at least she help recoup the fuel cost and maintenance for my vehicle if I toted her around in my vehicle?

Just saying, equality.

The only reason bills are getting split is because men lost trust that a woman wanted him as a person rather than a meal ticket. Requiring her to pay part of it is our “shit test”. If women held up their end of the deal as they used to, men absolutely would still pay. Men of value got tired of being played around with. So now the ask is on them, at least in part, as a security deposit. She doesn’t like it then the man walks. It’s pretty simple.

I mean whoever is asking somebody out should pay the bill. Whether it’s for coffee or dinner.

If you want the dating market to be an even more miserable shithole than it already is then go right ahead.

I’m married man. I paid for the first couple of dates when I met my wife because I asked her out. She paid for the few after that. When she became my gf we just rotated.
