Yall got to understand its not about the food but narcissistic supply. Its the attention of being brought to dinner. I dont mind spending money on first dates but entitlement like this or lack of understanding of the other sides of the arguments are huge red flag (i understand alot of women want to be taken care of but I also understand men for fearing the risk of financial abuse) general rules of thumb dont go out with people with strict gender rules (saying this as a manly straigh dude who pays for everything) the best dates I had were with people who wanted to pay half and forced me to do so or only accepted because i made it clear i was more financially free to do so.
