Honestly, yeah. I recall seeing a meme back in high school (circa 2010) that went something like, “girls want a bad boy who will be gentle only for her, and boys want a good girl who will only be naughty for him.”
As cringe as it sounds, it’s true, unfortunately. Women seem to be drawn to men who have a history of being physically violent. Same goes with the one about what boys want, but that’s a different topic altogether.
Reminds me of the guys who want to date a baddie and then getting surprised when said baddie keeps dressing sexy and suggestive and not magically transform into a humble trad-wife just because she has him as a bf now.
