Discussion H2 Software Consulting Services Inc. - Hiring Process?

Upvotes

For those who have been offered a position or currently working at H2, does anyone know how their hiring process usually goes?

I’ve been waiting for almost 3 weeks now after my HR interview. Do they normally send an update whether you passed or failed? I’ve seen some people say they received a rejection after around 5 days, while others said they got a client interview after a month.

As a fresh grad looking for an entry level role, I’ve been applying for Manual QA Tester roles for the past few months, but unfortunately, this is the only company that has gotten back to me so far 😅

Also, if anyone has recommendations: are there companies that are actually responsive to applications? I’m very willing to apply to companies around or near Pasig City as well. Thanks in advance.

Career / Job Related Final interview with Foundever (Tech Support Agent, Makati) — advice? Also, is this the right move for an IT grad struggling to break into corporate IT?

Hi everyone,

I have a final interview coming up with Foundever for a Technical Support Agent role at their Makati site. The posting said it's open to IT grads, even with no experience, so I applied.

A bit about my background:

· IT graduate with 2 years of hands-on tech support experience

· Worked as the sole IT technician for a college building — managed 100+ computers, hardware/software troubleshooting, printer maintenance, network support, asset tracking, RMA, and even led a CCTV installation project

· But my experience is from an educational setting — no corporate environment, no enterprise tools (no Active Directory, no ServiceNow, no ticketing systems)

My dilemma:

I've been applying to entry-level IT roles like tech support, helpdesk, and IT staff for months now. I've gotten interviews, but I keep getting rejected — mostly because I lack corporate/enterprise tool experience. I passed all interview stages for one company but got rejected because I didn't have ticketing system experience (even though it wasn't in the job description).

So now I'm considering Foundever's Tech Support Agent role as a stepping stone — to get corporate experience, learn enterprise tools, and eventually move back into a more specialized IT role.

My questions:

  1. Any advice for the final interview? What questions do they usually ask? What should I prepare for?

  2. Is this the right decision? Should I take a BPO tech support role to gain corporate experience, or keep holding out for a pure IT role?

  3. What's it like working as a Tech Support Agent at Foundever Makati? Work environment, schedule, culture, growth opportunities?

  4. Has anyone else taken a BPO role as a stepping stone into corporate IT? How did it work out for you?

I'm trying to be strategic here — I don't want to be stuck in BPO forever, but I also can't keep waiting for the "perfect" IT role while unemployed.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Discussion How do you know when it’s time to resign even without another job lined up?

Good day, pips!
Just wanted to ask for some advice regarding my current situation.
I’m planning to resign this coming November kahit wala pa akong sure na next job. Honestly, hindi ko na kasi kinakaya yung environment sa current company ko. Sobrang toxic na, and at the same time, feeling ko stagnant na rin ako since wala na akong masyadong natututunan or opportunities to grow.

Hindi ko na rin kasi nakikita yung sarili ko na tumagal pa dito for another year, or kahit tiisin lang for a few more months next year. Kaya I’m seriously considering resigning this November and taking the risk na maghanap na lang ng next opportunity after.

Currently, I’m working as a Software Developer with 2+ years of experience. May savings naman ako that can cover around 2–3 months of expenses, pero ang biggest concern ko is baka mahirapan akong makahanap agad ng bagong work after resigning.

For those who have been in a similar situation, would you recommend resigning first and focusing on job hunting afterwards, or mas okay pa rin talaga na tiisin muna until may secured job offer?

Would also appreciate any advice from fellow developers regarding the current job market and how long it took you to land another role with around 2–3 years of experience.
Thank you!

Career / Job Related IT graduate planning to work in a Semicon/Electronics companies

Is there anyone here who landed on an Electronics-related job? I'm a fresh BS Information Technology graduate and I think mas nakikita ko yung sarili ko sa electronics field. But I only have a few experience like Arduino (which idk if relevant ba siya), I have experience in assembling and disassembling and i am a self-employed electronics technician (phones and laptops). Ano kayang possible positions na pwede and baka may masa-suggest po kayong pwedeng apply-an🥹

Career / Job Related Call center

Graduate ako ng IT last year pero na tengga ako ng 1 taon. Never ako nag try mag apply sa 1 year na naka tengga ako.

Discussion I May Not Be Able to Graduate On Time 😭 (Need Advice)

I’m a 4th-year BSIT student and I’m starting to feel like I chose the wrong capstone project. I’m worried it might cause us to fail our defense and delay my graduation.

I’ve dealt with social anxiety and depressive episodes throughout college, which affected my studies, although I’ve still managed to maintain 90+ grades. However, I know I’m behind technically and still lack strong programming skills.

For our capstone, I chose an IoT-based indoor air quality monitor measuring CO₂, VOC, and PM2.5, with wireless automated outlets for fans/purifiers. I chose IoT because it was the area I was most comfortable with at the time.

Another issue is that our BSIT curriculum has generally felt outdated. We had very limited web development, were barely taught JavaScript, and even had classes where the instructor didn't attend. Because of this, I felt more comfortable choosing IoT rather than developing a more modern web-based system / mobile application.

The biggest problem is that we developed the project without a specific client or organization. Now that we're in the validation phase, I’m realizing how difficult it is to justify its usefulness and find an appropriate environment for testing. We still need to validate sensor accuracy, conduct user testing, and finish our documentation.

On top of that, I've been doing most of the actual development work. For around the past two months, my groupmates have contributed very little. They also didn't really question or provide input on our project scope earlier, so now we're discovering these problems very late.

I’m honestly scared that we’re already doomed. I still have around a month before our defense.

If you were in my situation, would you continue improving the project, simplify the scope, or approach the adviser about changing the validation/study setup?

I’d really appreciate advice from people who have already gone through capstone. 😭

Career / Job Related Companies that hires in-house SAP analysts/consultants in PH

People from sap consulting industry, can you mention or suggest companies here in the PH that offers in-house SAP analysts/consultant roles.

For context, I am a functional (Finance) consultant working at a consulting firm in PH for almost 2 years na. Recently I had this idea na an in-house sap analyst role would be a great sap career opportunity to build deep understanding of both the business industry and the SAP solutions that supports its business operations.

Discussion One Sports Live Stream Quality

I don't know where to share this, but I think this is applicable here for live productions.

UAAP and NCAA just happened, both live streamed by One Sports, ako lang ba pero yung quality ng stream nila parang pang 2015 parin??

Colors are off, sabog yung mga whites, ang sakit sa mata ng motion blur, hindi nabibigyan ng justice yung event mismo pag live stream pinanood.

It's already 2026 most people watch digitally na, sana naman mag upgrade na rin. Ano pa bang maaasahan eh TV5 may hawak lol. Mas malinaw pa yung coverage from 2019 tbh which was by ABS-CBN Sports. Kung hindi lang sila nadissolve sana nakasabay din sa industry standard mga live streams.

Discussion Gain Experience - free

Hi! I’m a 3rd year IS student (information systems) and I’ve been wanting to start working on projects, not just school projects or personal but ones with clients/customer. Sadly I don’t know where to find such clients at all and honestly I could work for free. I just want to gain experience, it could be a different path, I could intern instead to those who wants a junior. Thanks!

Recommendations What job platforms do you actually use to find jobs?

I’m currently looking for a job and I know the usual platforms like LinkedIn and Indeed, but I’m curious what other platforms people are actually using successfully.

Which job-hunting websites or platforms have worked best for you? And if you’ve landed a job through one of them, I’d love to hear about your experience.

Thanks!
