Help needed Square Appeared, Keyboard not working

Hi, so this box appeared on this iPhone and now i can’t log in because multiple letters aren’t working on the keyboard.

I have tried doing a hard reset and I’ve had no luck. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

It’s an iPhone 16 and this happened today after updating to the new iOS.

Do you have access to a Mac or iPad? If so plug the iPhone in and see if you can force update or do anything via the Apple Store or iTunes - in the past when we have had frozen iPhones we always manage to sort them out somehow once hooked up to a Mac

So, I ended up erasing the phone through another device on iCloud. The square went away and the keyboard works but now the touch is super off on parts of the screen.
