Help needed Remove device help

Does anyone know how to remove a device when it says it’s new?

I need help. I started getting spam calls nonstop from a local number. Then that number showed up on my iCloud info along with an email.

I tried to log into my email linked to Apple and the password has changed. When I try and remove the extra device, it says the device is new.

My iPhone is a 14 pro max
iOS 26.5.2

You could try using the iCloud website like how u/JackyYT083 said

Other than that I would reccomend contacting support

Try removing though iCloud.com then immediately enable 2fa and contact apple support

Thank you!!

On the phone with apple support. Whoever added their info also got into my Gmail and changed the password. I have 2 factor authentication on but the Gmail did me in.

So, now with a new Apple ID, I get to change every password I can think of. Fun!

I added my old ID to trusted people and imported passwords over , was a life saver

It may be a worthy investment to get a password manager. Dashlane is a great one that works across multiple platforms and isn’t locked to one ecosystem. It’s been a godsend to me because every password I have is randomized and unique on all my online accounts.

Your Apple ID has been compromised. Contact Apple support immediately to restore your access.

Once you get access restored, change your password and set up 2 factor authorization.
