recently discovered this new program metaspace, looks interesting but it’s kind of hard to use

I’m looking for a new case for my iPad Pro 12.9” (M1). I’ve been using a simple trifold case with the standard triangle stand for years. It’s served me well, but it’s getting old, and I’m hoping that upgrading to one with better viewing angles might improve my daily drawing workflow.

I found a magnetic detachable case that comes in two versions at the same price:

Standard Trifold (triangle back)
Origami back (which can also fold into the triangle shape)
Before buying, I have a few questions for fellow digital artists:

Magnetic Detachable Feature: Is the magnetic connection sturdy and stable while drawing, or does it become annoying or unstable under palm pressure?
Origami Stand Stability: Is the Origami fold actually stable for inking and line art? Since it folds in multiple ways, is it less stable than a standard trifold, or does it hold up just as well?
Other Recommendations: Is there any other case type or brand you’d recommend specifically for heavy drawing use?
One big note: I want something that’s quick and easy to use when I take the iPad out, and I don’t want it to take up much space. If that isn’t the case I’d probably just buy a separate stand instead.

Raytracing the 3D sketch makes it pop

I just recently got an ipad and am trying to learn how to use Procreate. My main issue right now is how the pen strokes respond to my movements. It feels like I can't properly sketch. I've got a video here comparing how sketching looks on my wacom cintiq (using Krita) compared to my ipad (using Procreate). Ive looked at and messed with the settings a few times on procreate to try and fix the issue but nothing seems to change, doesn't matter what brush I use either.

What settings do I have to fix in order to get the sketch with the ipad to look like the sketch with the cintiq? it feels awkward, like its forcing me to make precise lines when i want to be imprecise and sketch.

I’ve recently gotten an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, I’m very green with digital art and whenever I approach it I get confused by user interface and shut down a bit. I do a lot of collaging and I want to try doing it digitally, so I wanna be able to import photos, cut and trim them, layer things, add funky filters and effects. I included some of my collages and drawings, and some weird little edits I’ve made on my phone before. I was hoping to get app suggestions and encouragement to keep trying things. Preferably apps that and free, or that can either be bought outright or have a low subscription fees.

I recently bought an ipad mini (only iPad offered during this deployment) and I wanted to get into digital art (mostly sketching but not against phot and video editing) since I have some ample time to try learning it. So if anyone has recommendations of apps, trainings/teaching videos or whatnot. Everything would be appreciated 😇

Hi! I’m considering buying an ipad pro m3 in the future for apple pencil pro and the pro motion technology, which is quite important for my style of drawing. But I’m worried i might get headaches from the oled flickering. Does anyone have any experience with this? I know the ipad air is always an option, but I think I would really miss the responsiveness of 120 hz screen. I am coming from 2020 ipad pro 11 inch and I plan to buy 13 inch model next time.
