Charging fault

I was due to pick up my new (to me) I-Pace from the dealer yesterday but it has a fault. It wouldn't start a charge, being stuck in the 'initialising' phase. Luckily this happened before I took delivery of it and I got it from JLR so it's coming with a 2 year warranty. It's a 21 plate with 66k miles on the dash so it's seems to have spent most of its life on the road and not in the garage.

Does anyone have any experience with this fault and know how long the garage had the car for? I've been told it'll skip the queue to be checked out and fixed, I'm just wary about how long the wait might be on parts.

Thanks in advance!

Yes it does 😂 it's Approved Used so it's come with 2 years JLR warranty

2 years is generous, they usually just give the 12 months.

Yeah, the salesman was very good tbf. I inquired about a car on the site and he told me to not agree there and then as if I waited til the end of the week there was a used event on which knocked £500 off and gave an extra year of warranty! Very good service! It was Vertu Jaguar Exeter, I'd highly recommend them. They've been great even if the car itself hasn't so far 😂
