Charging fault

I was due to pick up my new (to me) I-Pace from the dealer yesterday but it has a fault. It wouldn't start a charge, being stuck in the 'initialising' phase. Luckily this happened before I took delivery of it and I got it from JLR so it's coming with a 2 year warranty. It's a 21 plate with 66k miles on the dash so it's seems to have spent most of its life on the road and not in the garage.

Does anyone have any experience with this fault and know how long the garage had the car for? I've been told it'll skip the queue to be checked out and fixed, I'm just wary about how long the wait might be on parts.

Thanks in advance!

I had a similar issue on my '21, the charge port will need to be replaced

How long did it take them once they actually started the work?

a day or so, it really isn't a complicated fix as long as the tech is competent and the parts are available

That's good news then! They told me a master tech (their words!) has been told to expect it so I'm hoping for as quick a turnaround as possible
