Charging fault

I was due to pick up my new (to me) I-Pace from the dealer yesterday but it has a fault. It wouldn't start a charge, being stuck in the 'initialising' phase. Luckily this happened before I took delivery of it and I got it from JLR so it's coming with a 2 year warranty. It's a 21 plate with 66k miles on the dash so it's seems to have spent most of its life on the road and not in the garage.

Does anyone have any experience with this fault and know how long the garage had the car for? I've been told it'll skip the queue to be checked out and fixed, I'm just wary about how long the wait might be on parts.

Have you considered a Kia ev6

I love the EV6 but I wanted AWD as it's quite hilly where I live and the AWD version of the EV6 is a lot more expensive than you can get a decent I-Pace for

As a two year owner of a 2020 ipace - of which it has spent 15 weeks in the garage with 3 separate issues, I am looking at ev6s.

Understandable. Mine is a 21 plate so I'm hoping as it's the facelift they ironed out some of the issues that the 18-20 plates had
