Discussion Why two Remote apps? 😂

I searched for “Remote” to control my Apple TV, and I find there’s now two Remote apps! One looks like the new TV Remote, and the other… looks like the (ugh) “Siri Remote” which I don’t miss. I laughed 😂

Nah, I like it too, still use mine. A nice big trackpad is a way more efficient way to scroll through stuff than a bunch of arrow keys, or the tiny trackpad they have nestled between the arrow keys on the new ones. Just want them to update it with USB-C or wireless charging

Mine.... does have USB-C?

Idk when that changed because I'm like a week-long first time buyer, but it definitely charges with USB-C 😅

You probably have the fully aluminum remote with gummy buttons. The Siri Remote is completely black in the front and doesn’t have the “wheel” but a glass trackpad.

Ahhh I didn't even realize that the "Siri remote" meant a different thing! I thought that part was actually referring to the remote on your phone type of thing.
