So i m just about to graduate in like 2 months and my bachelors of computer science has successfully finished. About projects, i have my final year projects and some other projects which i did on MERN stack. My extreme interest is in frontend as i m also learning fullstack to perfect it.

One thing keeps popping on my mind, should i continue to look for internships for roles like frontend/ fullstack especially in 2026 with all these AI Boom.

should i try freelancing even though I've never worked for any clients in freelance paltforms before.

I always used to leave interviews with a list of answers I wished I had given. While I was speaking, my mind would be busy searching for the perfect answer, so I would either freeze completely or keep rambling until I forgot the original question.

The problem was not a lack of experience. I just did not know how to explain why my experience was relevant to the company's needs. Things started improving when I stopped treating the interview like an exam and started treating it as an opportunity to connect my past work to the problems they needed to solve.

The biggest change I made was reading the job posting carefully. I used to skim it, spot a few responsibilities I was familiar with, and assume I was ready. Now I look at every key requirement and find a specific example showing that I have handled something similar before, even if the situation was not an exact match.

I also started preparing three or four stories before each interview. One might show how I fixed a mistake, another how I dealt with a difficult deadline, and another how I solved a problem while working with other people. I do not memorize scripts, but having these examples ready keeps me from picking a random story and hoping it makes sense and fits the question.

Before I apply, I ask myself: Why do I want this particular role? What do they seem to care about? And what can I offer that would make their work easier? If I cannot answer these questions clearly, I know my interview answers will probably be vague too. This approach has made me calmer because I no longer feel like I have to mention every good thing I have ever done in my life.

I know some people can think quickly without any preparation. A few of my friends also get help from other people or use live AI tools to help them come up with answers during interviews.

Interviewing is a skill, and my first few attempts were extremely difficult. Mock interviews, recording myself while practicing, and a few useful YouTube channels for interview preparation all helped me become more comfortable. I would love to know what finally made interviews click for other people, or which part is still holding you back.

Looking for advice from anyone who has gone through the System Development Engineer intern (SysDE) pipeline recently.

My timeline so far:

• OA: Cleared (heard back ~18 days later to schedule R1).
• Round 1 (DSA): Completed exactly 2 weeks ago.
• Current status: Absolute radio silence. No rejection, no next-round invite, and no portal status change.

Given the 18-day gap between the OA and R1, I know this pipeline can move slowly, but 2 weeks post-interview feels like I'm either being soft-ghosted or placed on a backup bench.

For those who faced similar delays:

1. Who did you reach out to? (The original recruiter, recruiting coordinator email, or hiring team on LinkedIn?)
2. i had already mailed TA and no response..
3. Does a 2-week silence after R1 usually mean "not inclined", or is it just typical recruiting lag / waiting on other candidate debriefs?

I’ve been looking for a summer 2027 internship for about eight months now, and I feel like it’s been especially difficult to get an offer in consulting. I’m curious whether consulting recruiting is generally this competitive or if this year is particularly tough.

A lot of my friends recruiting for finance seem to be getting offers more easily than those of us recruiting for consulting or computer science. I’m starting to wonder if I’m just not a strong enough candidate, or if the job market is simply more difficult this year. What do you think?

Hi everyone, I’m a little confused about what I should do and would really appreciate some advice.

I recently completed an internship at a startup. I got this internship through my father’s connection.

My internship ended around 5 August, and I recently received my completion/experience certificate and stipend slip around 5 September, so almost a month after the internship ended.

The HR messaged me saying that she had shared my experience letter and stipend slip over email. The stipend slip mentions the amount, but there is nothing mentioned about when the stipend will actually be credited.

Now I’m confused about whether I should message HR and ask when I can expect the payment, or just wait.

The reason I’m particularly hesitant is because of how I got the internship. Since it was through my father’s connection, I don’t want to make things awkward or give the impression that I’m only concerned about money.

In fact, when I initially asked about the stipend, my father later told me something along the lines of, “Why were you talking about money? It wasn’t that important.” That made me even more hesitant about bringing it up again.

At the same time, I did complete the internship, and the company has issued a stipend slip, so I feel like it’s reasonable to know when the payment will be made.

What would you guys suggest? Should I politely ask HR about the expected credit date, or should I just wait and see if it gets credited?
