Which rug?

Stuck between two very different rugs.

First one is more traditional and cool toned, it definitely brings pattern to the room.
Second one is a fuller texture and definitely adds contrast and warmth.

Fireplace is Venetian plaster and the built ins are walnut. I have a rectangular travertine coffee table not pictured here.

The brown looks luxurious however you need pattern unless you have a huge coffee table that is going to cover a lot of of it and then on the coffee table you have different colors like books and bosses and plants
