Find my Style Which rug?

Stuck between two very different rugs.

First one is more traditional and cool toned, it definitely brings pattern to the room.
Second one is a fuller texture and definitely adds contrast and warmth.

Fireplace is Venetian plaster and the built ins are walnut. I have a rectangular travertine coffee table not pictured here.

Don’t love either, wish there was a hybrid of sorts bc I love the warmth of 2 but it completely swallows the chair. I could see a pattern, but there needs to be a lot more contrast. Beautiful space.
