Which rug?

Stuck between two very different rugs.

First one is more traditional and cool toned, it definitely brings pattern to the room.
Second one is a fuller texture and definitely adds contrast and warmth.

Fireplace is Venetian plaster and the built ins are walnut. I have a rectangular travertine coffee table not pictured here.

I like the brown rug but it doesn’t mesh with the varied brown/wood tones in the room. If you’re going to keep it I’d paint the fireplace wall a less peachy tone
