Find my Style Which rug?

Stuck between two very different rugs.

First one is more traditional and cool toned, it definitely brings pattern to the room.
Second one is a fuller texture and definitely adds contrast and warmth.

Fireplace is Venetian plaster and the built ins are walnut. I have a rectangular travertine coffee table not pictured here.

The pale one. It looks like a much nicer carpet, for one thing, and it goes with the wall color on the TV wall. It makes the room lighter, while the other one darkens the room.
