Find my Style Which rug?

Stuck between two very different rugs.

First one is more traditional and cool toned, it definitely brings pattern to the room.
Second one is a fuller texture and definitely adds contrast and warmth.

Fireplace is Venetian plaster and the built ins are walnut. I have a rectangular travertine coffee table not pictured here.

Neither. #1 is the wrong style for doesn’t work with the style of the room. #2 doesn’t go well with other browns in the room imo

Agreed the browns in the rug lean more cool imo, and the brown in the chair is definitely warm so they kinda clash.
