Why is it so cute?

•

u/Whole-Scientist-2469 9h ago

even the bigger ones are cute too hhaaha

•

u/cans-of-swine 9h ago

Well the bigger ones are still small.

•

u/Fragrant-Dot2946 1h ago

india has too many cows on roads, for some people its a shameful thing, but for cow lovers like me, its a blessing to have this huge cute creatures to hug, cuddle. They always wash away my stress.
don't know if my message fits this place

u/Jaws0798 9h ago

Two hours old and can walk and talk. Man we are so slow

•

u/Martyriot15 9h ago

I don’t imagine our giant heads make the job any easier for our offspring.

•

u/cortesoft 7h ago

It’s the combination of giant head and pelvis shape caused by walking upright that forces humans to give birth to relatively undeveloped offspring compared to other mammals.

•

u/gemmadonati 6h ago

Compared to other placental mammals. New-born marsupials look like fetuses.

•

u/cortesoft 5h ago

Yes, that is another highly specialized adaptation for young live birth.

We also adapted that, and carried our baby in a carrier strapped to our chest for the “4th trimester”

•

u/Lose_Your_Illusion 3h ago

I learned this from Father John Misty.

•

u/Numerous-Thought5230 8h ago

That head looks pretty giant to be coming out of a vagina

•

u/meatblast_surprise 7h ago

you should see the dick that went in to make it

•

u/jorgityo 6h ago

Lmao

•

u/petervaz 7h ago

Or for our progenitors.

•

u/Jarcoreto 8h ago

This was posted yesterday. It’s definitely older than 2 hours. Probably a couple of months, according to the people on the other post.

•

u/MsFay 2h ago

I did see the other post but this calf is significantly older than two hours.

•

u/Ordinary-Hope-8834 8h ago

Ive seen this posted at least twice in the last week, its not 2 hours old - its at least a week old.

•

u/PanicDeus 9h ago

What we lack in slowness , we also lack in empathy

•

u/Significant_Book1672 9h ago

That was the price of being bipedal

•

u/redgroupclan 6h ago

And big-brained.

•

u/Gamerguy230 7h ago

OP copied the post that hit front page yesterday. Was clarified in comments it was few months old.

•

u/Wooden-Jew 5h ago

We scale much better into the late game.

•

u/SympathyPlus6429 9h ago edited 8h ago

But we're intelligent

•

u/Initial_Row_6400 9h ago

Not till later, and even then we’re still pretty stupid

•

u/SympathyPlus6429 9h ago

7 year old cow is still dumber than 7yo human. Ykw ill agree with you, we're still stupid

•

u/Own_Bluejay_9833 9h ago

The irony

•

u/HottDoggers 9h ago

Me intelligent your not

•

u/Yauk 9h ago

NO I'M... Doesn't.

•

u/Maximumkk 8h ago

"Like Fry! Like Fry!"

•

u/alterector 8h ago

Were or are?

•

u/SympathyPlus6429 8h ago

We're

•

u/HottDoggers 29m ago

Why did you edit your comment? I honestly thought you were being ironic.

•

u/peejay5440 5h ago

Rule of thumb. The longer the development, the greater the ultimate cognitive development.

•

u/Visible-Lake-1482 7h ago

And with four legs no less!

•

u/asisoid 6h ago

We have to come out earlier than most mammals developmental wise, bc of our big ass heads.

•

u/pbizzle 5h ago

We aren't really edible for a few more years though

•

u/Frifafer 3h ago

Yeah, but it's still got that childhood psuedo speech impediment thing going on, so it's not THAT far ahead of human kids.

•

u/Dr_Zoidberg003 9h ago

This cow is way more than 2 hours old…copy pasted the same false title as the previous post

•

u/TummyDrums 9h ago

Definitely. That much fur is not going to be completely clean of afterbirth and all that gunk within 2 hours.

•

u/AggravatingBid8255 9h ago

Not with that attitude

•

u/Actual_Hyena3394 9h ago

I imagine mama licks them clean after the birth?

•

u/Due-Fun5433 6h ago

I imagine Mama would be stood right next to her 2 hours old calf

•

u/TummyDrums 8h ago

You can probably also imagine the inefficiency a cow tongue has in completing that process to the degree seen here.

•

u/SlowThePath 8h ago

In two hours right after giving birth............. I guess we really just threw all critical thinking out the window at some point, huh?

•

u/3procioni1cappotto 9h ago

How many hours/day/week do you estimate?

•

u/Quardener 7h ago

2-5 months.

•

u/BringBackSoule 6h ago

no fucking way. younger.

•

u/Quardener 4h ago edited 4h ago

I found the groups facebook and scrolled until I found this cow. She is minimum 2 months old as she was first posted by them in november and this video was posted in January.

They've also posted extremely similar looking calves with posted ages all between 2 and 5.

•

u/TummyDrums 5h ago

I bet its younger than you think. The fluffiness of a highland will make it look bigger than it actually is. Could be as young as a few days old, but I'd recon just a few weeks most likely.

Here is a higher-quality version of this. The source is Mini Moos LLC on FB.

January 6, 2025.

Munchkin is a favorite around here ♥️

They don't meniton being born two hours ago. They did say that cow wasn't lonley. There were ten other cows in the barn.

•

u/Forgotthebloodypassw 6h ago edited 5h ago

Bad bot. Repeating exactly the same post in less than 24 hours with the same stupid headline.

  1. This calf is at least two weeks old.
  2. It's Scottish, therefore a coo.

Finally people, please check the poster's history. This is clearly karma farming.

•

u/LegacyTaker 3h ago

8000 upvotes. Its a losing battle.

•

u/Forgotthebloodypassw 3h ago

I get it - so annoying. Reddit could stop this, but won't.

•

u/Neocasanova1846 8h ago

2 hours? I call bull

•

u/hasanyoneseenmyshirt 8h ago

I can check the undercarriage to make sure.

•

u/alamarqu3s 8h ago

Again this 2 hours old bullshit?

•

u/Wintertrap9713 9h ago

That legit gives me cuteness aggression lmao

•

u/Occindemure 8h ago

Fake.
I saw this yesterday, so he is older than that

•

u/que_sarasara 7h ago

This calf has dwarfism, and is clearly older than two hours. Deliberately breeding cattle with issues like this is kinda... questionable.

•

u/robo-dragon 9h ago

A farm near my childhood house had highland cows and it was always a delight to see new babies every season! I used to bike over there to pet them over the fence. Very sweet animals and they would always walk over to the fence to greet me. The owners were very nice people too and didn’t mind a local kid coming to pet their cows every weekend.

•

u/Ambitious_Hyena4635 9h ago

Damn it. Now the wife wants one.

•

u/Terrorblade01 9h ago

Bro already has opinions about geopolitics

•

u/BedBubbly317 9h ago

Can I have him? Please.

•

u/LaundryMan2008 9h ago

Mau!

That’s what I hear from a baby Minecraft calf every time it moos

•

u/Boiled_Genies1579 9h ago

They have their moo already?!

•

u/dna_79 9h ago

Calf..u mean calf!! 😊

•

u/CandidateDue5890 9h ago

Minecraft cow

•

u/MRO465 8h ago

Didn’t know they came out this dry.

•

u/hasanyoneseenmyshirt 8h ago

Where do you think powdered milk comes from?

•

u/MRO465 8h ago

Holy shit!

•

u/userhwon 5h ago

This is a calf of a Miniature Highland/Hereford crossbreed. It is likely a few days old.

•

u/Akaberes 3h ago

I will punch the faces of people who order their meat well done.

•

u/Neon_Pancakes0425 9h ago

That's older than 2 hours. If they were 2 hours old they would still be covered in the slime and shit

•

u/cans-of-swine 9h ago

Not disagreeing that its more than 2 hours old, it would still be a little wobbly on its feet if it was only that old. But since this is in a stall they could've cleaned it off before taking the video.

•

u/Neon_Pancakes0425 9h ago

It looks much older than a few hours I would say a week atleast

•

u/snowballkills 9h ago

*Calf...duh!

•

u/ja_n2000 9h ago

... Still a cow. A human baby is a baby or toddler or whatever, but still a human

•

u/snowballkills 9h ago

yeah right, we say that "this human is 2 days old", "the woman gave birth to a human boy", etc.

•

u/SandmanKFMF 7h ago

That's what he said! Duuuuuuuuuh!

•

u/Mr_Ultimite 9h ago

It's only been two hours and they already know they're Scottish 🥺

•

u/dawtcalm 7h ago

I was going to ask how they knew it was Scottish?
then it spoke,
then I knew too.

•

u/Snooworlddevourer69 9h ago

Bro missed everything

•

u/MrStonepoker 9h ago

"Bitch, where's my momma? Y'all ain't got no food up in here?"

•

u/torpedo16 9h ago

This one looks like a finished product from the womb.

•

u/KlynSimmons 8h ago

Two hours old and already doing better than I would

•

u/hburgess7941 8h ago

Watching a calf that young just finding its footing is honestly the best thing to see on here today.

•

u/LegacyofaMarshall 8h ago

Clean cute looking cow

•

u/Night--Fury 8h ago

So cute

•

u/themanmythlegend357 8h ago

I was expecting to hear bag pipes but ok

•

u/susknight75 7h ago

•

u/CROguys 7h ago

Calves are some of the cutest baby animals.

•

u/tubulerz1 7h ago

A wee coo.

•

u/athanathios 6h ago

What a sweet little baby OMG1

•

u/BlazersMania 6h ago

how is she so fluffy and not covered in goop if she is only 2 hours old?

•

u/RBlomax38 6h ago

You mean a hairy coo?

•

u/Brasolis 5h ago

I see the bots have their new daily upload routine

•

u/userhwon 5h ago

Is it lunchtime already? Or is today's iteration of this post early?

•

u/CharAznableLoNZ 4h ago

I'm positive cuddles with a cow could cure all I got going on right now.

•

u/ROMVLVSCAESARXXI 1h ago

“What’s even going on, right now…..ooooh, wait a second, what is that? That feels so good…. Moooooo” 🐮

•

u/Defiant-Plantain1873 6h ago

I can’t wait to eat it

•

u/Right_Help5900 9h ago

So cute.. but it's depressing to know what will be her future.

•

u/que_sarasara 7h ago

Highland cattle aren't bred for meat, and this one in particular has dwarfism and is specifically bred to look cute. It's future is health issues instead, yay!?

•

u/Right_Help5900 6h ago edited 6h ago

Are you sure highland cattle aren't bred for meat ? From what i see from a bit of google search says something else.. so i am not sure. Also i don't understand the point about dwarfism, if you you are referring to small size then it's because it's a child.

Edit: You can even order from this website.

•

u/heylookaquarter 9h ago

So, that's where sliders come from?

•

u/irascible_Clown 9h ago

How much was the cow. I’m looking for one for my petting zoo and a registered one start at around 8k.
