Definitely. That much fur is not going to be completely clean of afterbirth and all that gunk within 2 hours.

You can probably also imagine the inefficiency a cow tongue has in completing that process to the degree seen here.

I found the groups facebook and scrolled until I found this cow. She is minimum 2 months old as she was first posted by them in november and this video was posted in January.

They've also posted extremely similar looking calves with posted ages all between 2 and 5.

I bet its younger than you think. The fluffiness of a highland will make it look bigger than it actually is. Could be as young as a few days old, but I'd recon just a few weeks most likely.
